Local dealer has this one basically brand new, able to operate each side individually as well as hydraulic center kick wheel, do you ever have any issues with it plugging up in heavy first cutting ? My rotary shit the bed and neighbor baled me it with Kuhn sr110 which did a great job
Hillside Acres, When I get into super thick hay, it will act wonky. Big lumps can form and lift a side. It doesn't happen too often and for the price, I don't know it can be beat. If money were no option, I would be a Kuhn with the self leveling wheels. I think it's called a speed rake. At some point I may upgrade but not any time soon. This one seems to be working really well. I think other companies make it or white label it. It would be nice having a 10 wheel and like you mentioned a kicker wheel. I'm not doing that much so this is good for me. Thank you for watching our video and commenting! It means a lot to us! Kevin
Swift Lawn Care, LLC. You are probably doing what I truly enjoy. I love to cut grass. I cut as a side hustle for 30 years. Love it! Thanks for watching our video and sharing your thoughts. So far, I've not beat this rake up too bad. It's good to know about replacing individual teeth. I've done that on the tedder but not my rake yet. Kevin
@@MillGapFarms I own a lawn and landscape company. Been a fun ride! We also do snow removal and I do hay and some row crop as well. And yeah, they’re super easy to replace. Takes no more than a minute or two.

Would have like to seen the hook up/set up.
DM S,
Do you mean the part where I connected to the tractor and connect the hydraulic line? Thanks for watching?
This is identical to our 702 John deere
Even the color? Thanks for watching Brooks Farm! And thanks for leaving the comment! Kevin
@@MillGapFarms exept for the tires
They have to change something... right? Kevin
@@MillGapFarms nope not at all
Much cheaper to replace teeth. On my Vermeer which is basically the same as yours, a wheel is $200. Teeth are about $1.50 a piece or so.
