That is a very interesting custom Van build that he did.
Nice job~ They should be very proud of their work so far. Oh, and plus, they will be saving a few bucks to put fuel in the tank!
Love the killmat idea and 12v ducted AC. I'm sure it's not cheap to cover the entire van in killmat, but the sound and insulation benefits are worth it I'm sure.
Kevin and I must be kindred as that is my name too. I was talking to a retired educator who I know quite well. She says that among her peers "Kevin is almost a diagnosis"!
Another kindred trait is I completely covered our Sprinter interior, front to back with sound deadener. Every nook and cranny. I then thoroughly insulated with Thinsulate. The result, as he said is well worth the effort.
Love The van. Would love to meet up with you and them sometime but according to the aforementioned educator, that could cause the globe to tilt.

IR thermometer on shinny materials isn't very reliable.
