- The first criminal trial against Donald Trump is underway, he is trying every way he can to get out of it including his son Barron’s High School graduation, he appeared to be sleeping in the courtroom, he was in Shnecksville, PA on Saturday where he gave a broken-headed interpretation of what happened at Gettysburg during the Civil War, Jimmy breaks down his speech using the chalkboard, thirteen minutes after his trial started he posted several different videos boasting about winning his own golf tournament, the Golden Bachelor and his bride are headed for divorce after just three months of marriage, and in honor of Tax Day it’s time for our second annual “Last Minute Tax Day Deduction Parade.”

On a serious note, the Battle of Gettysburg was a true moment of profound sadness for the United States - one of the largest of many battles that pitted Americans against Americans in a Civil War that was painfully resolved, not in the Courts or in the government so painstakingly constructed by the Founders, but on fields of battle that ultimately caused the deaths of more Americans than the total of all the wars that the US has ever been in since.
You do not have to look any further than Lincoln's Gettysburg Address to see the true meaning of Gettysburg; Trump's feeble attempt to expound on the battle of Gettysburg as a talking point in one of his "rallies" is an insult to all Americans. (IMHO)

While in school, a spoiled kid with an inheritance to burn away heard a teacher say the words "freedom of speech" while explaining reasons why America is great. That same kid wasted the inheritance on failed business ventures, and went on to assume "freedom of speech" meant freedom to break absolutely any law, and never be under the control of any legal authorities.

I find that many conservative (or at least today's conservatives) tend not to understand freedom of speech. They make the mistake of thinking it's absolute. They also seem to forget that other people have that same freedom.
