    Its awful when you look down and see you phone is mising. Dropped mine on Shelf Road and was able to back track and find it. Not so lucky going over Berthod pass. Glad you were able to find yours!!!

    Oh man! Thankfully there is hardly anyone on that road so made it easier to find that phone. Well as easy as easy can be LOL. Dad with the quick lesson. LOL. Such a beautiful place. Just can’t image what that is like in real life.

    Can you set it up so we can hear you and your brother chat through your intercoms ?
    I know it's possible 😁
    Lucky the jeeps didn't run over the phone....

    Great video. Happy you found your phone. These things just keep getting more and more expensive. If anyone would of told me 2 years ago i would be paying over $1000 for a phone i would of thought they were crazy but here we are today.

      Haha! I was very happy to find it, “money saved is money earned” and it seems bikes are the same as Jeep’s in what you can buy for them. Thanks for watching!

    Second!! Man that was a thrashing! Super glad ya found the phone. May want to put it on a lanyard. I agree that gasoline burner seems a bit sketchy lol. Thanks again for bringing us along on your adventure!!!

    • @adventureguysofficial
      @adventureguysofficial  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      A lanyard is a great idea, I like the idea of using one fuel source for cooking and all but the gas is sketchy for sure. 😅 Thanks for watching!

      @@adventureguysofficial Yes sir I use one on my kayak and paddle board trips. Long enough to hold phone to get pictures, and just short enough to not fall in water.

      Lots to learn, buts it’s all fun... unless of course the phone was lost. 😂 Drones are useful tools for sure.

    You guys are awesome., but I have to say that I get very nervous when you’re on rocky trails close to the edge! I do not like the drop-offs! 😂I’ve been following your family on EFRT…love this show.
    Best of luck with your channel.

    That is why I always use a tank bag with a see through top pocket for important items so I can keep an eye on them.

    • @adventureguysofficial
      @adventureguysofficial  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great idea, I believe Mosko Moto has other tank bags like that, in this case it was my fault for leaving a buckle undone and not paying much attention. It was an epic drive though and lesson learned.
      Thanks for watching!

    I too lost , and then found my phone on the TAT. Sick feeling, then euphoria

    Yes it is just following the magenta line on the gps and go where it directs. The faith that someone went before so you can do it now. I did it in blind faith through parts 1 through 3 of the NEBDR and I made it.

    Nice find on the phone. We’ve all done it with some piece of gear.
    I found it better to put things like phone / wallet in a place that is always the same. Tank bags work because you use the the same bag every day. Riding gear can work if it’s the same gear every day but if you have different jackets / pants with different pockets etc, it never worked for me. I wanted it to be in the same place every time.
    Are you prepping for taking your own videos without the support of the Jeeps? Caroline might start charging you otherwise. 😂
    Loose grips can be solved with safety wire too.

    • @adventureguysofficial
      @adventureguysofficial  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      True, the pant pocket was a temporary fix. The phone in my tank bag and a lanyard of sorts seems the way to go for me right now.
      Thanks for watching!

    I’m still confused. Why all the bags on the bikes if the Jeep’s are just following you around? Why even have that stove that you’re running on gasoline if you mom is just going to keep cooking for you?

    Don’t underestimate Colorado. Some say it’s too crowded. I have found places that are true wildernesses. Colorado has everything I could possibly want for in riding or hiking.

    You don’t need more stuff for your bikes. You need more time on your bikes and you need to stop thinking your a truck and drop the majority of the luggage on your bike.

    Seems like your KTMs came with a lot of cheap parts from the factory that require immediate replacement or protection. Did you guys look at any other brands. I know KTM has a big bro cult following but honda seems like the better play.

      What Honda is close to engine and suspension performance of a 690?
