Thank you for your kind comment.
this a good record player
Breathtaking machine. What an upload!. I never thought I would see one of these.
Incredible and beautiful 🥰
Just the cabinet as a piece of fine craftsmanship is very beautiful, let alone all the mechanics and sound quality .Such a lovely song and record too . I wonder if this went to a Country House somewhere when new ?
Those lovely 30s!
Musical wonder
What a fantastic HMV gramophone and with Al singing you have made my day. I hope the record is OK that drop gave me a heart attack!

It's amazing gramophone! not need say anything else!
Many thank for the reply I stand assured. you must have a great collection of Al Bowlly.

Richard
Interesting.
A push rod (visible in front of the turntable) lifts the edge of the record, and when the record clears the spindle, the rotation of the turntable flings it off.
Fan-tastic! Beautiful cabinetry, the great Al Bowlly and a mechanism still working all these years later. How fortunate you are sir. Does your collection include any Louis Armstrong 78s?
Is that an electric light in the lid corner?
it's "looking on the bright side of life" new mayfair orch. sung by al bowlly....look for the record on ebay.uk
Hello! Wonderful gramophone! By the way, have you got soundbox Electrola/HMV n4? Because I really need it and can’t find!
It's a little scary to see that nice disk thrown down the chute like that!
Cute stuff :)
I always wondered about changing the needle after every record. What kind of needle does it use?
Hi John, thanks for your interest. I use Duragold columbia needles. They last 10 sides. For a single record I just use a standard needle. Cheers. Greg
Can I buy them?
