Your warm up DLs looked smooth, not far off!
We'll get it next time
The 280kg flew off the floor ! Then got to your knees but a couple of months of working on your deadlift and I’m sure you will smash the 300kg by then. 👊
Yeah back just wasn't playing ball after competition, we have it soon then bring on 300kg
280kg flew up to knee height but then just kind of stalled. I wonder if a smaller jump might have help, instead of 250 -> 280 if you had gone 260->280? Coincidently last night I was evaluating my 1RM deadlift to see where I am on my road to 200kg. Also coincidently I managed 170kg and I think would have locked out 270kg.
Looking forward to the Road To 300 videos, will they have a Spartan theme 😀
Yeah my current PB is 270kg for 2 reps, normally I fail a deadlift from the floor but with this being straight after comp my back was still very fatigued so it blasted off the floor then I had nothing left to give! I find smaller jumps actually hinder me usually because I use too much energy on the warmups. I will get it next time! Cheers for watching and good luck on the road to 200kg
This is my goal to hit 300kg lifetime.. watching with Great interest 🕶️
My goal when I first started was 250kg in my lifetime - adjusted that goal now! 300kg by the end of the year will happen
@@TobyLifely I'd say your definitely on for it
How can i increase my raw deadlift? Grip strength is so challenging for me.
I have a video on my channel a few months back on my top 3 grip exercises for building grip strength - in summary for building grip strength with heavy weights on a bar like a deadlift I'd recommend heavy behind the back holds for 2-3 sets of 30secs once a week, but yeah go give that video a watch and hopefully it is helpful!
