Helicam International HD: Farmland Aviation, Kenya

This short film gives an insight into the operations of Farmland Aviation Ltd., a successful family business based in the Rift Valley in Kenya providing crop spraying services to the East African agricultural community with a fleet of Ayres Thrush aircraft.
Filmed both from the ground and the air, using remote helicams, the film shows you close up views of the specialised equipment that is maintained in-house by Farmland Aviation, the various aspects involved in the daily operations of large scale crop spraying and the incredible low level flying skills of the pilots.

Keep those airframes fitted! The way the droughts are causing huge fires in the NW of North America and Brazil etc there will undoubtedly be a time when Kenya may suffer the same heat and destruction of natural growth by fire!

The Thrush is a much more attractive airplane than the Air Tractor ever will be. I know that Mr. Snow pretty much designed them both, I just think the Thrush looks a whole lot better!!!

They use both Thrush AND Air Tractor. The AT just wasn't available when we were filming.
