These have an enjoyable sound signature which is nice for listening to music and will be great for those who like the Harman frequency response. Yea a number of reviewrs like Stu, think they have a lot of bass. I don't hear that. The bass really only comes put to play below 60 hz. Since a lot of music doesn't have much if any bass below 30hz. Compared to a lot of headphones that don't have a lot of bass below 50hz, but do have some elevation in the mid and upper bass; the akg k371 actually sound tame in the bass.

After hearing the Meze 99 at audio advice I'd go with that. 371 is good but it's outclassed. 99's are snappier and have better tonality although it can kind of sound a tad forced but you really won't care. @@HomeStudioBasics Why did metal 571 stop doing reviews? Did he just get bored with it, or were there other reasons?
Metal is great, I've just discovered his videos 👍
Great video as always. Loving your hairstyle 👍🏾
Haha, thanks man! May be chopping it off. Haven't decided.
another great video once again~
Hey ! Thank you! I still need to get to your 7506 comment about Sag/Aries etc. Haven't forgotten!
Hey just wondering. I just got a schiit modi dac + heresy stack but sadly at the same time my m40x Audio-Technicas broke, and I'm in the market for new headphones. I kinda want to stay with closed backs just because I live with other people and don't want the sound to leak out. What would be your best recommendation for closed back headphones? Would it be this?
Hey man probably K371 or Meze 99 Classic which I haven't reviewed yet. homestudiobasics.com/akg-k371-review/
I prefer K361.
👍
Have you heard both the headphones ? Currently I m confused between two. There is divide which is the better sounding.
@@svrzainim93 "better" here is very subjective. 371 sounded boomy and bloated. 361 is more neutral. But that's a preference. Some others like 371 more.
@@McanoLasala better in the sense : clarity neutral not overemphaised bass, mids or treeble, overall tonality and warmth. What about sound stage tho?. Personally I listen a lot of edm, rnb,hip hop. So which will be more natural and pleasant to chill? Also I need only to listen music
@@svrzainim93 361 then, definitely. And a very good soundstage. But for the biggest soundstage with closed back headphones I'd go for AKG K550-553 though.
I guess, I’ll add those to my collection as they arrive in my country)
You'll buy more headphones and YOU'LL LIKE IT!!! xD
@@HomeStudioBasics i call my collection an EarPods and Z7M2, I guess I’m not very humble 😂
Will you review Ultrasone pro 900i?
Perhaps man! Just depends. :)
@@HomeStudioBasics hope always exists!
I think the v6 is way better than the 7506 the cd900st is waaay
i thought these had weak bass lol audio technica 59x has a thumping bass but mids suffer .isnt there a good headphone in that price range with that club thumping bass ?i haven found them yet .guess my audio technicas will stll be the bass champs but not really satisfied thanks for your video
I hate this new Harman Target trend... Its not holy grail. Some people prefer dark , bright , V , U , W shaped headphones and honestly this shows character to them . Personally i prefer a warmer headphone than this HT target.
Good job! Keep on posting! - initial comment) will post another in the end, as I finish watching this vid)
Thanks, man!
@@HomeStudioBasics you’re welcome!, bro!
You were great in Star Wars !
Lmao. Another doppelganger? Which character from Star Wars shall I add to this list? docs.google.com/document/d/1Vy1sLgbfwj8oa5IhDPQ7b0MIK8arExKqg5n3MUg5RxY/edit?usp=sharing
@@HomeStudioBasics Kylo Ren
haha thanks man! Yeah getting a lot of Adam Driver ref's. Will add that one :)
@@HomeStudioBasics He is Kylo Wick!! kylo and keanu's love child... both are badasses hence Kylo Wick's sudden outbursts of apeshitness during his reviews that makes us all wakeup and wonder if we will be killed... thank the lord they are only short lived....
I'm torn between this and the meze 99
After hearing the Meze 99 at audio advice I'd go with that. 371 is good but it's outclassed. 99's are snappier and have better tonality although it can kind of sound a tad forced but you really won't care. You'll notice it, but you will still love it because vocals sound oh so lush. It's crazy how present and lively they are. One of the best closed backs I've heard and will be adding it to the list: homestudiobasics.com/the-best-audiophile-headphones-a-complete-buyers-guide/
@@HomeStudioBasics Do you know if it was the Neos or the Classics?
Would you recommend these over the ath m40x/m50x?
Actually yes I would. Better sound, more refined, no glaring issues. The only slight nitpick is the bass shelf which actually sounds very good most of the time as you can infer from the vid. I don't like the 40x much. I used to have it in my budget kings but took it out. 50x will always have a special place in my heart, but I think the 371 does everything a bit better and it's more comfortable. Check out the official review I think it will help you decide. Keep me posted! homestudiobasics.com/akg-k371-review/
have to rewatch cause too busy laughing.
Lol hey man! You think I'm funny?
@@HomeStudioBasics those excerpts you were doing making faces and put the phone in your mouth while giving a review made me lose focus
