nice job Frank ! Don't STRESS over length . just cut 25 FT . This antenna is meant to work with a ATU in radio . This is a multi band . not like end fed half wave which you tune length. If you want just 10/11/12 meters just one band you can adjust for good SWR . which is about 5/8 wave . will work great but hurts multi band tune. Treat it like a 9:1 you made. just cut wire and use ATU in radio. But 4:1 has different cut chart . follow that . Fiberglass pole ! Carbon fiber will mess with that . Use the DX commander 10 meter mast. What I do. Love the build ! Now do a POTA with that antenna and use 10/12 meters. Them bands open lately ! 73
since it wasn't magnetic in the beginning the heat will not really affect it so you should be good. it will aneal the wire and make it soft but even that will harden back up as you work the wire. Nice little project. 73 and take care Vic de KE8JWE

I will use the DX Commander mast, 35 is felt on the roll, i was just being lazy and not cuting the wire at the house
