Gottmik should have been in the bottom!
• if the judges focused so much on kandy's disco outfit, Gottmik's outfit was worse.
• low energy and looked lost most of the dance.
• uttica got called out for being too campy in the dance, but you can see gottmik make weird faces too.
• her runway outfit was bold and a clever take for "little black dress" but taping things to you while almost being naked has been so much before and it's not really a gag anymore.
• finally, stop relying on that body.

The judging was HORRIBLE. Tina's on top because of her disco outfit? Tamisha on the bottom because she looks nervous (despite nailing the choreo)? And I thought this is a dancing challenge? SMH.
I literally disagreed with almost every placement. For me, this should've been the placements:
Win: Denali and Olivia (Olivia destroyed the main challenge, and Denali was almost as good, but Denali had the best look on the runway)
High: Rosé, she did as good as Denali on the challenge, but her runway was... That.
Safe: Symone, Lala Ri, Tina, Eliott, Utica
Low: Tamisha
Bottom 2 but shantay: Kandy Muse
Eliminated: Gottmik (althought i know this would've never happened)
@@thepoelightshow2565 they couldn’t put Tina in the bottom because she was in the same group as mik and that would’ve drawn too much attention to them and the Rigga Morris would’ve been too obvious (as if it already isn’t)
It’s a disco challenge. Tina had the vibe and the energy, tamisha did not. Drag race fans really need to get into disco because this take is just sad.
Tamisha didn’t nail the choreo she forgot a part of it that’s why they said she was nervous and her outfit wasn’t that strong.

Rosè and Denail deserved better. The judges were high. Michelle is having memory loss. Two weeks ago, she clocked Tina for having the same look and here we are this week and nothing was said. 💀 This ep was chaotic for me.

Even tho tina did great on the challange, i thought her proportions were wrong in the challange look and in the runway. I was really surprised that Michelle didnt said anything.

Girls are cast to be top 4, front-runners etc. That's how a lot of contestants evade lip-syncing completely, despite how they do in some challenges (for example Alaska, Violet, Kim Chi, Aquaria, Gigi, Gotmik & Rose). Their placements are loosely pre-determined before the season begins filming. Drag race isn't scripted, but it is definitely fixed and heavily influenced by the producer's decisions.
The fact that Denali, Rose, Lala, and Tamisha were all mistreated this episode is insane

I feel like the judges are favouring the winner’s circle. Look at the people who’ve been eliminated: Kahmora, Joey and Tamisha, all in the “loser’s circle”. Denali and Rosé slayed in the challenge: not in the top. Gottmik messes up the choreography: safe (and I looove the girl). Tina wears the same colours every week: nothing is being said.

update: remember, this is just my opinion, and at the end of the day, DO NOT SEND HATE TO ANY OF THE QUEENS. Disagreement always comes with reality tv, but let's look at Kandy and Tamisha's resolution. This is what the drag world is really about. Let's celebrate that and be kind to each other

you're kinda right, but also, am i the only person who thinks that like half of the winners' circle should have been sent to the porkchop (cough kandy cough lala cough tina)? no 🧢 i seriously thought that there would be a twist like "jokes on u, porkchop is for the better ones" or something
yes and it's been driving me insane. I literally don't care who wins at this point as long as it's Rosé, Denali, or Utica. I'll even take Elliott for technically being a pork chop queen too.

Also, I don't mean to discredit everybody in the winner's circle (olivia, for example, deserved her win), I just think that the judges have been EXTRA HARSH on the pork chop queens, and I feel bad for them :/

I just KNOW Rosé is pissed. She’s literally a dancer, this is a dancing challenge and her and Denali had the hardest choreography and they slayed the dance. And yet, she still didn’t win after being in the top 3 times in a row

Rosé and Denali did the choreography perfectly... but Miss Olivia Lux sold that dance so hard, i could feel the joy emanating from the screen while watching her
Rewatching this a year later, it's a little bit easier to understand why Rose and Denali were just safe. They can nail the technical choreography, but they just weren't as soulful as the performances by Tina and Olivia.
denali deserved top tbh. she did well in the runway n dance. rose on the other hand, she lacked emotion in the dance but had good choreo n her runway look was a choice

I’m over this whole season. Narratives are being pushed over fairness, annoying cliques are being formed, people are getting away with looking like Ronald McDonald every week (not gonna name names) and they’re pushing annoying personalities in our face that I DONT want. I’d take tamisha and joey jay over tina burner and kandy ANYYYY day.

Mik could’ve done a white face and stepped out of that norm too, that wouldn’t have mattered as long as she had a good outfit with the make up. Plus maybe if she did have white makeup it could’ve covered how bad she was doing in the challenge. Utica was just trying to make up for her lack of dancing skills. But I do see where your coming from.

You can see on the first part, the choreography is so simple compared to the other pairs yet Gottmik forgot the steps and made mistakes. A perfect valid reason that he should've been in the bottom with Kandy.

Ru said Utica's face was borderline mocking the choreography, but I feel like she and Olivia had the most fun up there and their energy was very infectious.

This is a super cute challenge and you can tell Ru is really passionate about disco. I really like it! I couldn’t stop smiling while watching it. The judging completely ruined what would’ve been a really good episode. Also Tina, Rosé, Olivia and Symone look BEAUTIFUL

Agree. Rose and denali had the best choreography and i could not take my eyes off of rose. She exudes disco so much. Not discrediting olivia's win but i liked rose's performance a lil bit better.
