i love the internet. going by the (poorly) written instructions that came with my replacement antenna, i'd given up, and was going to just schedule a visit to the local honda shop to do it for me. probably saved me $75 by watching this video. thank you so much!
Thanks, so very much. Took me 20 minutes before I saw this video, and I hadn't even located the cord. Took me about 10 minutes to fix afterwards, took me longer than expected, since I had a friggin alarm-box in the way, so I couldn't see a damn thing, and I had to lie flat on the back to even have a chance of finding the hole with my hand. So, thanks again!
Thanks for your help. :) I think the rubber cover is the one already screwed on the car. I noticed that it could be cut open. I think thats what youre talking about. I didnt buy a new antenna. When I got the car, the antenna was just laying in the truck and never installed.
The string broke on the way out at the top. We can't figure out by the picture where the hole is for the antenna (inside the car). Can you give us an explanation of where we can locate it?
Oh no wonder! Mine didn't have an antenna to begin with. It just had that plastic cover. When I tried to install the new antenna, I took the cover completely off. That's why the alignment was wrong. So do I cut a hole in the plastic cover?
not sure if you answered this question but at the bottom where all the wires are, where is that whole located that antenna line is suppose to come from? I don't know where to even look

At 1:52, what is that that the antenna is going through? Is that the rubber cover with a hole? I dont see that at the completed stage.
