I do wish the sand timers had different color sand for the various speeds (red for fast, yellow for medium, green for slow) just to help with quickly identifying which timers are more critical in the game

Interesting idea. Having them the same color does mean you have to keep an equal eye on all of them , increasing the pressure and tension for sure!

I bought it in Essen23 and I agree with all that you said, also for me it's a great party game especially cause it's quite original if I look at all the party games that have been published in the last years.
The only small concern is that when you play with a lot of people on a rectangular table it's quite hard for the people on the short side of the table to reach out the hourglasses in the opposite side. Beside thqt it's a really fun game with a good amount of replayability! Really good review by the way!

Got this at Essen last year and love it. Just enough tension/stress to raise the anxiety levels, but not too much to spoil it or cause players to shout at each other

I have yet to.play quicksand but Kites. It is more streamlined imo for my family

Just an FYI for colorblind players the color cards have different specific patterns albeit they are very slight

I don’t like quicksand. It’s coarse and rough and irritating…

A couple of weeks ago I wrote some constructive criticism as I thought Camilla had too little opportunity to speak. I don't know if you've even read my comment, but I felt a lot of improvement there. Zee led the conversation, yet still both had enough time. Keep up the good work!

Camilla knows how to speak her mind. The way they do these videos though, someone is the "presenter" (the first person to speak) and they are clearly in charge of making sure all the bases are touched. That alone means the "presenter" is going to talk the most. When Camilla is in that role, she talks the most. It's a genius way to handle these videos, as we all know Tom, Zee and Mike can out-talk everyone else (except for maybe Chris). This also works out well as those who aren't as "verbal" in videos - often Camilla, but usually Roy and Joey - get put in the driver's seat, allowing them to be the ones to guide the conversation. These people aren't working with scripts, so don't go into a video expecting a 50/50 split. It's not about that.

@@kevinbhieey9188They make Roy the presenter when they want the videos under 10 minutes 😂

@@kevinbhieey9188I prefer the 70/30 split because it prevents the whole video being "yeah I totally agree..so let me say what you said again" which happens a lot on DT

@@TheSludgeMan which is why the longer multiple reviewer videos is actually a much worse format.
