The "Yummy" archetype feels like melffy support for the synchro climbing they can do in your opponents turn. Of course none of us know a single thing yet but I'm hyped even if it'll be awhile until we get them in the TCG. As a dedicated Melffy player I hope I don't go crazy trying to find the synergy between Yummy and Melffy lol.
About the mid tier players discussion (my case btw), I think we are just dealing with the consecuences of the milles long jump in powercreep that were the last few formats, I think it's not hypervolic to say that SE, Yubel and Tenpai KILLED rogue in any kind of environement aside from the most casual ones and lots of people left because of that; however, after the banlist the format seems to be turning into something more accesible (if a bit expensive) and with stuff like the almost competitive out of the box blue-eyes structure deck and the anime + a lot of promising legacy support coming a lot of players are gonna come back, althougt we should ask more of konami as a community, the rarity bumps have virtually no positives for the game.
D.D. Post can be banished from hand or deck to basically get activated immediately, not sure if it works if banished face down, but in the right deck it's definitely faster than you'd think just looking at it as a trap card.
i feel like jesse fusing into the big veidos with the trap was better than embers. less chance for followup but at least youre ending on a big, annoying guy who *can* interact with the opponent and wiping their board in the meantime (tidying in hand clears but lets ignore that Smile)
Ngl I love Josh as a personality in the community, probably my favorite yugioh player, and also my second or third favorite streamer, but I don't appreciate the assumption that everyone just agrees about decks he says are cringe. It's just hypocritical imo. The guy played beat cop mystic mine runick sprite 😂 drytron is nice compared to that. Especially now drytron is as fair as it's ever been. Sure you could set up lib and secret village if you want, but imo with tenpai running around, the go first ftk decks have an important part to play, we're making them question making us go 1st lol. I wish he'd actually learn the new version of drytron and give it a chance. It's not as cringe as he acts like it is.
i mean floodgates are cringe but drytron is a mid range deck, that needs like 3 specific cards in hand to set up floodgates( vanity, village) so i would actually say drytron is really fair, can be lame tho. But every meta deck can be very lame tbf
@anyways827 he played mystic mine sprite, I think compared to that drytron is really fair lol. I understand the reputation tron has but if you want to win you'll play what gives you the most effective route to success. It's no worse than fiendsmith or any modern deck.

There's a lot of people that like Nu drytron imo. Not a big deal tbh, I just think titling the video "plays drytron" is a bit bait, he plays it like 3 games and talks about it like it's awful and we all just hate it.
I really like yugioh but I wish there was a more casual format. I don’t have time to play enough to play at a competitive level. I wish they had a more accessible format for people like me.

Except it's not just him who played Mine when it's legal, but everyone else. All he did was doubling the reinforcement to protect the mine
