I've got my General ticket, but that hardly means I've mastered the material. I'll be watching every one of your videos. You are an excellent teacher! KF0GGB

Congrats and keep pushing forward. It is funny in that most people get their license then the real learning begins!

I am another satisfied watcher of your videos. Passing the tests via the hamstudy method is great but little knowledge is gleaned from that. Your videos are helping me to understand and piece it all together.

Thanks for sharing. That is why I do both. Base knowledge PLUS technique to pass the test. Once you get your license, the best way to learn is to use the equipment. It now has context so easier to apply.

@@hamradiomadesimple Following your proposed technique(s) I passed my Tech, then General in short order. I'll obtain my extra, God willing, sometime this year. You have been very helpful. I'm also considering your teaching and opinions while shopping for radios and antennas. KI5WWK.

Wow, thank you Mitch. I did not see your comment until now. Sometimes TH-cam doesn't relay that a comment was posted. I try and respond quickly but 3 months? Not the way I like it. Sorry but again, really appreciate you taking the time to let me know. If you have any questions ping my email HamRadioMadeSimple@gmail.com. This way I won't miss it!!

Thank you for the great video's. Just got my license a few months ago and have been watching a lot of youtube videos trying to gather as much information as I can and I can say without a doubt that your "Intro To Ham Radio" series is the most informative I've come across. I'm looking forward to watching all your video's. Carmen W3BNC -

Soooo new - I am overwhelmed🙄Thank-you for your videos - very informative.... still working on getting my license as well as trying to decide on equipment..... BaoFeng??? So much negativism - but it is a newbie move - especially if $$ affordability is a Major Factor!!! 👍

Us non-techies all start from where you are. It is finding the right resources to help you make sense of all this stuff.
Check out Jason at HamRadio2.0 TH-cam for his review on HT's. www.youtube.com/@HamRadio2
It will help you. Hardest part is learning on to program the radio to hit the repeaters. Once you get this down, the rest is easy for UHF/VHF side. I

Hello. I am a new HAM. KC3TBA. I bought n ICOM 7300. Both the Receiver and the Power supply are still in the box because I want to build a Dipole but won't start for a couple weeks. Is it possible for me to quickly put up some type of a Receive on antenna so I can work and become comfortable with the ICOM? If so could you explain how I could do it? Thank you for your help and the video.
