Could DJ Hurz be the one to have the Nats DFA Patrick Corbin finally? Never heard of him but he was on a pace to break Steven's record. Remember, Strasburg had 7 strikeouts after 4 2/3 innings before striking out the last 7 men he faced.
they wont dfa corbin its his contract year and might as well use him and the nats even if they are in the playoff race at the end of the year they arent ready
@@peanutybuttery8264the problem with that philosophy is that he is a guaranteed 7-8 runs per game. Hurz proved better in one start than Corbin has had since 2019. Don't get me wrong, I loved the deal that brought him here, but he has not been pitching at a major league level since Covid-19. I doubt they could get anything by trading him and his roster spot means some young Soto like player won't get to be here.
@@brianwhiting3280 after corbin’s done hers is definitely here to say but herz is clearly on a pitch count and probably going to be sent down once gray and williams come back plus corbin’s last few outings haven’t been terrible especially for him
@@peanutybuttery8264without any access to masn I sometimes lose stuff, but what happened to Williams? Also unless I missed a start he gave up like 6-7 runs two starts ago and he is the only pitcher with a loss in the past 8 games. But it's never a good sign when you have less wins than your closer.
@@brianwhiting3280 williams had the same injury gray had hopefully not as bad but corbin’s last 4 outings haven’t been bad other than the 6 run against the mets his other 3 were 1, 2, and 3

I don’t wanna count chickens but I can smell the wildcard
Well remember we had our first winning record since July 1, 2021 earlier. Let's wait until game 162 before deciding what their record will be.
@@brianwhiting3280 i know, but it's still good vibes for now
@@neBen_AMEN. From your keyboard to God's ears.
Keep bringing on the arms and stop making errors and base running mistakes, and this could be an interesting year. Possible playoffs, anyone?
Here’s hoping
You and me both. 👍
