The older you get, the more you realize how complex life is. This guy was industry changing when he appeared. Together with the wisdom he gave us, he also said a lot of stupid shit like 8h arm workouts but what really matters is that I'm watching this now and laughing my ass off, he was a true entertainer or I suppose more appropriately he still is! I know everyone has a story like this but man I remember watching Rich long before this series even dropped, I was 16 at the time and I would come home from my lil job and workout with rich on in the background. Working out with Rich brought my love for training to a new level, the knowledge I had of it, and inevitably made a lot of positive happen in my life. I’ll never forget Rich, I’ll never forget this series, and he was one of the VERY few “celebrities” that I actually felt a sense of love for. Rest easy big guy

I think its because he's not trying to be someone he's not he's trying to be what he believes is the best version of himself and he doesn't care what people think. Theres an honesty in what he says and does and you don't see that nowadays. We watch sitcoms tv shows etc that are all staged scripted touched up re done over and over and its not natural. Rich is opposite of that and he's cool so it makes him admirable. People who are ignorant don't see passed his muscles and tattoos they fail to see that there is something very human about him.

Amol Kumar I only just recently heard of him and started watching his videos after he died. Seems like a very nice guy, just doing his own thing. You can see it when he offers to get soda or ice cream to the person filming him even though it is late at night. Looks like his lifestyle cost him his life, but to me it's no different to when an extreme athlete or racing driver dies. They knew the risks and accepted them. So did Rich.

Coming back to this series as I get back into fitness. I'm grateful for how much content Rich put out because I can keep coming back to these. Rich is the comfort food of fitness lol. Just puts me in a good mood and gets my ass to the gym
I was doing an intensive summer course in Algebra during the three months this came out. Every week days for 6 hours with a 1:30 hour trip gone and back. I did nothing that summer other than studying.
I would only spare time to hit the gym 3 times a week AND watch this series. BBTD was my only source of entertainment during those 3 horrible months and boy did I enjoyed it and looked forward to it every day. Thanks for those little good times, big man. May you rest in peace.

He was real with everything he did, openly discussing his steroid use and saying to everybody not to do it, and kept telling everyone that supplements and protein are bs and to eat real food instead, even though he had his own supplement company. Don’t you think that fake naturals destroyed many more people by creating false expectations and making them resort to steroid use? Or do you genuinely believe that his bulking tips (which were based on relatively healthy food, even though unnecessarily large quantities of it) are the ones making people sick and obese, and not the fkin fast food all over the world?

Rich Piana has died today, August the 25th. I am from Europe and I feel deeply sad and If I have to be honest I even cried today, watching a tribute to him. I don't like steroids, drugs or whatever, so I should be indifferent to his death, since he decided to take them and more than once he said he didn't care of dying during this serie...BUT...I don't know why I feel tremendly sad, it is like a mentor has died...I like his brutal honesty, honesty in bodybuilding is damn rare and even if I didn't know him personally, from the video I perceived he was a GOOD guy...with all his complex, addictions, inner demons and so on...but he gave me this sensation. I will miss you Rich, one day I will make your 8HRS ARM DAY, even if being natty, and that day I will cheer to you. Farewell.
