Fantasticno izvodjenje, dubok umetnicki dozivljaj, prirodnost zvuka i talijanski verizam gde dusa i srce pevaju, cini pijanistu Romanovskog jedinstvenim.
I was wondering about the half empty hall as well. I can't imagine that something like this wouldn't be sold out. I would be thrilled for a chance to go see a competition like this. This guy plays with heart.
Regardless of all the experts. I found this piece very moving. I am not a musician and I don't play anything. I have just had my seventieth birthday and at time reflect on things that have shaped and effected my life. Things only come to mind when a simple exchange of words make me think about who I am. Whenever I come across something like this, my emotions are effected. The music. a musician, a facial expression, an effort, the conductor, the whole thing is amazing how such a cacophony of sounds can be arranged to create this beauty. The exchange of words I referred to was while sitting in a hot tub at my gym. This piece of music was something I heard in 2000 in Sydney. I had mentioned the emotions and huffs and tears that are expressed as I appreciate this stuff. The response was "There is something wrong with you, You should see a psychiatrist". So is it just me, or does this stuff touch others in the same way??
Un suono meraviglioso, grandi emozioni nascono ascoltando questo grande pianista spero presto di ascoltare dal vivo questa grande bellezza caro Maestro!
No, he did not get gold. I could also reason out why too, in this recording he's barely audible. Factor in, that this recording is probably made with a high quality expensive condenser microphone. In a true performance setting, it's most likely he was being buried by the orchestra, something we cannot experience as we weren't actually watching the performance.
Not bad, considering that it's probably the most difficult piece of its kind, but he really is completely pale in comparison to Argerih, Horowitz, or even Lugansky or Pletnev.

I thought so too, but if you listen to Vladimir Horowitz's 1951 version it sounds very similar too..

No one cares. Try leaving a comment worth reading next time!
Нет слов...!!! Какой-то многоступенчатый непрерывный оргазм.
