I'd give more credence to Tyler over Drake, even though both are but the shadow of a blade of grass compared to Andre 3000 and Big Boi. But still, Tyler added a different voice to the movement, which is so important since so many other past artists with different perspectives and opinions also contributed to what we see as hip hop today.
What if the only voice was The Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff? It wouldn't be a bad thing, but we wouldn't get the same flood of messages and ideas as we do, and that is because there are thousands of artists contributing to the form. I know Tyler and his group is controversial, but their darkness merely brightens the light of other songs from other artists.
