Sir i was in 10th when the rectangular slab experiment u helped us a lot in it . And now i m in 12th and still watching your practicals they are too good and helpful to us today is my practical exam and just bcoz of u i will get 45/50 and may be more thanks a lot for your proper support and guidance sir .
I teach science online to O/L and A/L students. This video was a huge help to me in properly conveying the ray diagram to my students. thank you very much
if your asking this question for time stamp 3:30 thn he is referring to the image backside of the mirror on his wall not the image on the concave mirror if u look at it carefully u will find it
When the candle is placed outside the focal point of the concave mirror, the reflected light rays diverge and appear to come from a point behind the mirror, creating a virtual image. However, the actual light rays that reflect off the mirror can still reach your eyes, allowing you to see the candle flame. So, even if the image is formed outside the mirror (in terms of where the light rays converge), the light from the flame travels to the mirror, reflects off it, and reaches your eyes, enabling you to see the flame itself. This is why you can see the candle flame even when it's outside the focal point of the concave mirror.
2:22 case 1 between p and F image doesnt look on screen as it is formed behind the mirror 3:38 case 2 on F image does not look on screen bcz the screen has to be far away from the pole 4:11 case 3 between Fand C image is formed on the screen and it is behind the object real and inverted and magnified 6:30 case 4 at C the image is formed on the screen and the screen is moved bc when u look at ray diagram of case 4 the image is formed on the same distance and same size and the image formed on screen is inverted and realand of same size 8:44 case 5 beyond C the image is formed on the screen and the screen is moved bcz in the ray diagram the image formed is beyond C and the image is real, inverted, and diminished 10:05 case 6 at F it cant be demonstrated as object distance would be too large to fit on sirs wooden table thank you, hope this helpss
Thank you for sharing and i have two questions 1) why only flame is visible not whole body of candle 2) does it also forms images behind the mirror simultaneously because in spoon which interior part act as concave mirror we can see our inverted image behind mirror too
Thank you for sharing your experiment. I found it very informative. Can you please explain a double rainbow. One is bright and shows the full spectrum of colors but the second rainbow is a mirror image of the first with the colors in opposite order. The explanation given is that light is reflected through the raindrop twice. Is this possible? Is there an experiment to show this phenomenon?
Double rainbows are formed when sunlight is reflected twice within a raindrop with the violet light that reaches the observer's eye coming from the higher raindrops and the red light from lower raindrops. This means the sequence of colours is inverted compared to the primary rainbow, with the secondary bow appearing about 10 degrees above the primary bow. I am unaware of any demonstration regarding the same. Thanks for watching the video.
Thank you so much sir for this video. This video is our tr. teach in online class then she screen shared this video. So I think this video is most successful in online class. Thank you so much sir 🙏🙏
Thank you very much sir. Your video helped me to understand and then finally my students. I have also seen your other videos. You are a great teacher. Thank you very much sir. God bless you with more.
Sir I have some doubts In case of real images, • Do we get image in mirror and screen both? • If we place screen and image is formed on screen, do we also get image in mirror at the same time or only on screen? • When object is placed at focus then we can not obtain its image on screen but do we get its image on the mirror? • Is the mirror you are using painted from behind or its double sided? And thanks for your video it really helped a lot and please solve my doubts because i am in class 10th and i am so confused 🙏
1. Only on screen not in the mirror for real image 2. Only on screen 3. Definitely we can obtain the image on screen but the screen has to be at a very far a distance please understand if the object distance he is very large compared to the focal length of the mirror the object distance is said to be infinity so screen at 150 metres away from a mirror having focal length 10 cm is considered as infinity. 4. Mirrors are always painted two times one with red lead oxide paint outside and inside it is silvered. Now if the mirror is convex the outside curved surface is painted and if the mirror is concave inside curved surface is painted but it is always double layered paint
I didn't had any concave mirror at home I had one it broke so I was finding a video which will show me the experiment .. Thanks a lot✨ I saved ur video
When candel at center 4exsmple ican receive image at screen and it is true image but if l look in mirro in same time i see inverted image also how this image formed on mirror
Thank you so much sir 😄 i am in std 9 I was thinking the image used to be formed on the mirror itself😅 After watching this video i now practically understand what the chart in our textbook meant
Sir u have one doubt that when you formed the image real an inverted on the screen using concave mirror so that time will the image of the candle be formed on concave mirror also ?
@@MakeMeScientific Sir, when drawing the diagram in a state of real image, it does not show that this image is formed in the mirror, so why do we see it in the mirror? I know that we can see it on screen front of mirror ,but why it also inside opposite what we predict from diagrm representation

Sir i have a doubt How can we see a candle flame in a concave mirror when the image is formed outside the mirror?
Sir please reply me
nah bro the mirror is used only for reflecting the rays screen is used to view the image
hope this helps, sorry if im wrong please correct me

Nice , helpfull video 👍
Thank You, Thank You so much sir
I really appreciate your efforts
Thank you so much
I am genuinely thankful for the video
Thank you so much 🙏
Sir thanku so much for making this video..... sir please make video🎥 on image 🖼formation by convex mirror.
Very informative
2:22 case 1 between p and F
image doesnt look on screen as it is formed behind the mirror
3:38 case 2 on F
image does not look on screen bcz the screen has to be far away from the pole
4:11 case 3 between Fand C
image is formed on the screen and it is behind the object real and inverted and magnified
6:30 case 4 at C
the image is formed on the screen and the screen is moved bc when u look at ray diagram of case 4 the image is formed on the same distance and same size and the image formed on screen is inverted and realand of same size
8:44 case 5 beyond C
the image is formed on the screen and the screen is moved bcz in the ray diagram the image formed is beyond C and the image is real, inverted, and diminished
10:05 case 6 at F
it cant be demonstrated as object distance would be too large to fit on sirs wooden table
thank you, hope this helpss
Excellent! Physics please make more video on chemistry
this is the best youtube channel for physics
Thanks a lot
It was very helpful
Most welcome!
Sit thankuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu very much.
Keep.on uploading experimental videos
Great explanation Sir and very nicely performed😊😊
Yeah, just started optics in our class 12,thanks for this video ❤️🙏👍
Such teachers make learning fun :)
Glad you think so!
This is what I was looking for in all the other channels
The only explanation which made me understand. Thank you so much!!!
Superb sirr.......
Thanks sir to clear my doubt,, of this topic,,, ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing and i have two questions
1) why only flame is visible not whole body of candle
2) does it also forms images behind the mirror simultaneously because in spoon which interior part act as concave mirror we can see our inverted image behind mirror too
I will explain on sir's behalf
1)Cuz the candle gives light....not the body.....so the flame is visible on the screen instead of the body
Pls explain
Why the image of candle visible on concave mirror even if the image is real after keeping object beyond focus ??
Because reflected rays are meeting if the object is placed there
Best video I have come crossed
I am private tutor from jammu... Ur video is very helpful.... BEst of luck... Even i will try this and i will teach my student also...
Good luck 👍
Thankyou very much sir it was a video of very clear explanation👍

How do you measure the C and F of the spherical mirror that you have considered.
It was already written on the cover of the mirror
Superb
Thank a bunch sir.... It was really helpful in visualising what we studying in theory
You're most welcome
Thank you sir, I really appreciate your efforts.
I need this experiment badly in order to clear my concepts and you helped me.
You are most welcomea
sir can you please tell me one thing
why we obtained the image of only the flame of candle not the lower part ??
We do get but it's too faint to be observed
Tq so much sir I check all the vedios on this topic but u made me happy once again tqqqqqqq sirrrrre
Thank you very much sir. Your video helped me to understand and then finally my students. I have also seen your other videos. You are a great teacher. Thank you very much sir. God bless you with more.
Thank you 🙏
I really want to try this activity but I don't know where I can find a concave mirror. Where can we buy that, sir? Thank you!
Thanks for watching. These things are available at scientific stores. Please Google up nearest around you. Thanks

Hi!! I have a Q like if the image formed on a screen then there will be no image in the mirror??
Image will still be on the mirror
But real, inverted
Sir I have some doubts
In case of real images,

• If we place screen and image is formed on screen, do we also get image in mirror at the same time or only on screen?

Sir,but what about the image that is forming inside mirror ,is that virtual,if yes then how it is possible
Yes its virtual and cant be caught on screen. Virtual images are seen inside the mirror only
Thank you very much aaj tak kisi ne nhi kraya
Very good demonstration 😊
I didn't had any concave mirror at home I had one it broke so I was finding a video which will show me the experiment ..
Thanks a lot✨
I saved ur video

Great sir,thankyou so much
Great explaining sir thankyou so much for this vedio 🙏❤️
Very nice explanation...!👍
Can we use colour paper instead of white paper ?? Pls help me and also cardboard instead of plywood ??
Yes
Sir jb image real aur inverter prde pr bnti hai to kya wo image mirror me bhe dekhne pr dikhte hai... Sir plz btaye

Best video of light on whole youtube ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sir why in spoon concave side we not need a screen
The light is reflected off the spoon and is headed for your eyes. So you don't need a screen to see it.
@@MakeMeScientific sir means eye acts like a screen here so we can see the image is formed inside the spoon of concave side...?
Very nice 👍
From where can i get this concave mirror
any scientific stores or amazon.
This helped me a lot thanks sir.
Sir how to find out the focus of the concave mirror?
th-cam.com/video/I5vpGLI62cg/w-d-xo.html
Can we do it with convex mirror
Yes
thanks sir
last exam I got 15/20 in exam (only this chapter)
after 2 months i got same chapter in exam and I scored 39/40 after watching this vid
once again thanks sir
😃😃
Well done. Best wishes
A quick stupid question. Why didn't the whole of the candle was reflected on the screen?
In fact the whole image is formed but the lower part of the candles images very very faint as it does not emit light
When image in made on screen then why we see the image of candle also in the mirror ?? Plz reply it's a humble request 🙏@@MakeMeScientific
Very nice👍👍
Can this still work even if it's morning?
Well never tried
But might work
Than how to know the measurements between B and C?
What if we don't have the resources u do??
These resources are cheap and available at any scientific stores.
It was really helpful ☺️☺️☺️
sir why there is a image of only the flame and not the whole candle?
As the lower part of the candle reflects a very small amount of light
@@MakeMeScientific ok thnx
Very nice sir
Great
Thankyou sir 👍🏻🙂
Very nice explanation.....with demo.....but image between the centre of curvature and focus is not clear....,pls give demo again......
Good information
best on reflection of light
my douts of practical look are cleared
Thanks
How to mark the distances?
Since focal length is 20cm that is f and its double is C from the mirror
Awesome video! Really helps to have a visual aid as opposed to just learning from a textbook.
Thanks for watching 🙏
Very helpful for me thank you
Thanks...... 👍
Sir please make an vidio on convex please
