Success! Now it just needs a little cleanup, lights, ignition wire, speedo, brakes, and a hood....easy stuff! I see we're finally getting some subs to add up. Nice!!
Be careful of the gear lubes you use. Some older rear ends and transmissions had brass internals that would be corroded by EP lubes in the newer stuff. If it calls for a GL-1 some Harley Davidson bikes required this and you can get it at their dealerships. To shift properly they were designed for a certain level of friction that EP additives messed with.
My dad had a baby blue one. He used to tape up the hoses before we would go for a ride in it. He was a doctor, not a mechanic. Not sure why he never got it fixed.
No no no, don't allways sell your cars - this is a little gem, that should be taken out, when big lazy cars with enormous engines shall learn how to corner fast! In a hillclimb you will be faster than many newer cars, with way more power. Keep it, please!
So if necessity is the mother of invention, does that return spring washer rig make you the mother functioner? The Sprite might be old and funky engineering, but that engine and transmission sound so sexay.
One of my new favorite channels
I wish you all the best Josh. I’ll be here watching every video!!!
Nice to see it running! Also right on starting a channel Josh!
Anytime I went for a test drive after repairing my car, my dad always asked if I had a good pair of shoes and a bus pass.
Love the headlight.
Safety 3rd!
Nothing better than working on projects with friends. Great job.
That is a proper test drive!
Finally Josh holds the camera while JR works
Josh is the Good Guy Greg of Automotive youtubers.
Maiden voyages are a blast!
Glad you got it fixed. Really enjoying your channel. Looking forward to the next project
Congratulations! What a great milestone in this build.
I don't know why, but I thought you 3 were brothers...LOL...man I love how that Healey is looking!
Nothing like that moment when a project becomes a car.
Well done, congratulations. Now you have to get on that Falcon that JR helped you with all those episodes ago !
I've got to finish up another joint project first.
That scrap piece of 2x6 is the world's most expensive JB mixing surface
🤣 and going up
Another awesome video Josh! Can't wait for the next one. JR should of waited until you posted your first start Healey video.
The smile on your face and the shear happiness in your voice was pure joy. Well done 👍. Thanks for another great video.
It's a very cool car!
awesome video keep this type of content I enjoyed it alot
So awesome. No wonder these cars were so popular back in the day.
There is no missing the pride coming through with the Healey moving on its own.
The only thought I have is to use non-ethanol gas in the long term.
Only thing I use in my vintage cars.
walmart usually has a dedicated pump for that

This came out nice 🤌
So sick, congrats.
Great fun watching you guys working on the car.
It must be running Good Now judging by the Look of the Smiles on Yours & JR's face. 👍 👍
My brother’s AH Sprite was British Racing Green and sounded great with an Abarth muffler! Fun little cars!
that little sod is ready to rock
Josh, nice job. Just found your channel and wondered if you have already sold it or have plans to. Enjoy your commentary very much.

Yep, old VW transaxles have that issue. GL5 will eat them up...
I found out the trans wants detergent free 30 weight and the rear wants a detergent free EP90.
The flashlight for headlight 1000% haha
Awesome
Code on radiator is a part number.
It's alive! Yeeeaaahhhh!!!
Congratulations!!
Great looking car!

I’m a certified JB welder.
My dad had a baby blue one. He used to tape up the hoses before we would go for a ride in it. He was a doctor, not a mechanic. Not sure why he never got it fixed.
Lessons learned - JR can into proper slav squat and you sir, are a graphics card hoarder 😁
👍👍👍👍
When the sound had to be dubbed on I thought you'd be great at snooker commentary!😀
Congrats! You really gonna sell it? 😊👍👍
Blinker fluid?
You know, there's a reason why radio porn never took off. Turns out, people actually want to see the "dirty and wrong" stuff.
😁🤷♂️
Good work.
Maiden
i see four existing holes on the top of the valve cover two of which are inline to the throttle, why not use one of them?
Hey Josh, are those Bang & Olufsen speakers in your garage?
That's Roadkill. 👨🔧

2:10 what's the diameter of a AA battery? :-)
She looking up....
Sad thing is, I’ve got a bunch of parts for these cars that’s going to scrap metal.
The correct spelling is "maiden".
should bring some nice $$ for your next project
Mayden? What's that?
So if necessity is the mother of invention, does that return spring washer rig make you the mother functioner?
The Sprite might be old and funky engineering, but that engine and transmission sound so sexay.
Blinker fluid is low
What is this car worth once sorted?
8-10k
@@TheFracturedRooster That's a nice unique car for short money.
Maiden?
Temporary fix aka the "for now" fix. We ain't fooling anyone.
