Wonderful to have you at TH-cam as well! And thanks for this interview, I'd never heard it before. You really made a great clip out of it.

Thank you for this video! I'd love to watch/hear the open end Mary Poppins interview that was available as an LP if I remember well! In case you have that one as well, I'll be looking forward to a similar video!

George Roy Hill directed this film and did a great job. He and Julie had previously worked together on "Hawaii".

I have the soundtrack on vinyl. One of the numbers was Rose Of Washington Square, a wonderful vocal. What puzzles me is why they didn't credit the actual singer.

"Millie" is a great film, and it's soundtrack is a great album! In addition to J.A., the film offers fine performances by Carol Channing, John Gavin, Bea Lillie and Mary Tyler Moore. (It was great to see MTM play somebody other than Mary Richards or Laura Petrie.)

The music was sensational and it was a good script. Julie's dry hairstyle didn't really reflect the period, though. I loved the clothes, though! The Roaring 20s really had to be something to behold. It seemed like such a fun time to be alive!

True her hair wasn't quite right. But the whole character was based on someone who was trying hard to be "Modern" when she was an old-fashioned girl at heart. LOL.

Very well done!! Is it true that even the short movies of Thoroughly Modern Millie are blocked by right holders? I have tried it several times but not be succeeded.

Bea Lillie's elevator opening was inspired.

What a pity Clara Bow didn't see this, the 'It' girl died in 1965.

To keep the 20's look, they should have thinned out her eyebrows the way they did in Star!. Julie looks like Maria Von Trapp here.

Another Eliza of the roaring 20's... perhaps this light comedy suits all younger cast but John Gavin...
