sunrise, palm springs, 2/2/25

twice this morning i was able to see a hummingbird doing a vertical hover backed by the rising sun and got the rainbow flash through the wings. being able to see that with the naked eye is pretty close to a once in a lifetime event. it happened twice this morning.
