The feeling one would get when the last hope for survival is a psychotic spam salesman… and that last hope spam salesman is frozen dead in front of you in a position of opposition and fear. Damn.
The thing about games is that most of the time [at least when I play], you don't really think about what you might be leaving behind. Sure, it might just be a game, but if you take that aspect out and look as the NPCs as actual beings... The devastation you might leave is kinda...
Take them with you or leave them to die It doesn't matter what you did if you didn't do pacifist then whoever you fight is stuck there until their demise.
I mean they had memories before the fountain so they probably stay alive in some manner, but if you just attack one they're all alone (but nubert makes them company so do they need anything else?)
The Colorful Butler was incredibly calm. Maybe because he knew he would be one of the very few souls spared in a Geno Run since he's a shop owner. (The one kind of monster a Geno Route character CAN'T murder. Look at Gerson and Burgerpants from Undertale) The Addisons could go either way since only like ONE survives making it to Castle Town in the end game. Ambyu-Lance and Virovirokun? They're screwed and they know it. Not just because their fellow monsters are frozen to death, but because there is no possible way to bring them to Castle Town. The only thing that kept them alive and filled with personality...was the Dark Fountain. Also interesting is the use of THOSE two monsters specifically. Since the only time we see them together, it's implied they have a rivalry. They've put it aside to do something pointless than is bigger than themselves.
I like this. Like some concept after a snowgrave, yeah. Like this, with minor characters. Although if the fountain was successfully re-opened, Kris and everyone else would return too because the room became a Dark World again... assuming they didn't leave in time. One thing I have to ask, what about Sweet, Cap'n and K-K? Or the Cyber Field? Surely at least the musical trio should be here.
I...I haven't through of this.Just to think that every other person we meet other the the Queen, are just stuck there, basically on there final hours.Just the idea that the addisons are just going to lose everything they done, and see an old friend dead, is just gratifying

What a fantastic job, when I heard the song fading in I instantly knew and I gasped and my eyes widened, I was amazed!!! OH MY GOD I just can't, this is too perfect
This just makes this route feel even worse. There isn't a bit of true happiness in this route once it starts. Even in castle town, nobody but queen, the music trio, and some NPCs come back. The rest left to turn to stone. The positivity in castle town feel bittersweet. No heroes, just villains, victims, and the unaware.
This idea, that Spamton tried to save everyone, but failed...It just blow up my mind! I started to looing at Spamton from another perspective! And I love this perspective!
THIS DUB!! I SWOON!! Oh my gosh the voice acting in this is absolutely amazing! It really made me feel for all these poor guys. Thank you for making this awesome dub for us all!!
HOLY CRAP I HAVE NO WORDS!!! The fact that none of the Darkners are actually survivors, but they have just one more hour to live is SIMPLY TERRIFYING!! Seeing Swatch so depressive and indifferent with the situation and Yellow Addison just going crazy, trying to laugh through the whole situation is SO SAD!! I was already shocked, but when Magson saw frozen Spamton I went NOOOOOOOOOOOOO- AND I ALMOST FORGOT TO MENTION THE PHENOMENAL VOICE ACTING!! THE COMIC IS AWESOME AND YOU GUYS JUST MADE IT BETTER!! 💖💖💖💖💖
Can you imagine how horrifying it would be to see the corpse of your dead friend with such a look on his face? I can only imagine what all's going through the blue guy's head.
i think this comic is one of the most realistic portrayals of the snowgrave route. a cynical, scary ending. leaving everyone to die. we need more comics like this.
the frozen Spamton NEO part really made me feel uncomfortable, and kind of sad too, it's like he just tried to stop a greater evil, but he ended up unfairly frozen, you can see his agony in that static frozen face.
Well we had to do what we had to do, Seal fountain. The thing Is that we Are evil only if we let people there die. Also idk about spamton being "infairly frozen" He was thé one who gave us that ring after all. Plus i think He knew well to much what we were about to do with it
I honestly wish that there would be a part two, I really wanna see what would happen next. Anyhow, this was amazing to watch, and the voices and comic were awesome
Seeing Spamton Frozen was very damn sad but it was so well drawn.. this comic deserves an award and I hope a part 2 comes out. You did a great job voicing it!
The fact that Spamton started this, gave to Kris the thorn ring. Then he become NEO. And in the end he try to protect everything. His fountain, his city. In the end, he didn’t know but he almost save the cyber world. And he was the only hope to save it. Now the hope is gone. This comic it’s just great it show us, what our (the player) decisions can do. You’r dub fits perfect and the music that you choose for the Spamton scene was perfect, it felt that all the hope to be save is gone. I liked it .Great job.
He wasn’t trying to protect the city, he just didn’t want Kris to seal the fountain the moment before his victory. He was trying to stop Kris from stopping him.

Well, according to the game, spamton was chiding and making fun of kris, so presumably he was about to tear kris’ [[heart-shaped-object]] out before being frozen.
The rest of the darkners would look to spamton as a fallen hero who had a desperate attempt to stop kris and noelle. Using an ancient power, yet he failed.
One of the survivors yelling “this can’t be the end” desperately while the horrifying imagery of Spamton’s final lunge at kris looms over Mags, and the music kicks in. This is quality shit right here.
A thing I just remembered is the difference in Susie’s dialogue between the normal run and Snowgrave. In the normal run, since all the Darkners head to the castle town when the fountain is sealed, you’ve both saved the light world and the Darkners from dying due to the fountain being closed. But if you do Snowgrave, Susie will instead say that it doesn’t feel like you saved the world. Which makes sense considering although you did save the light world, you’ve also left all the Darkners in the cyber world to die.
Everything about this is amazing! Every tiny detail adds on significantly, whether people notice them or not. Everything about it conveys the emotions of the scene perfectly- a sense of pure dread and hopelessness, yet somehow beautiful at the same time. The dialogue is perfectly fitting, VAs say their lines as if they were actually feeling the same emotions as their characters, the background's dull greys combined with the character's bright highlights, the music perfectly conveying everything... It's amazing. I don't think I could find something better put together if I tried.
god imagine what was going through Mag's head, Spamton, the friend he and the others abandoned out of envy and jealousy filled the mansion with traps (pipis), ventured into the basement of the mansion, got the old robot body out, and stood in the way of kris, all as a last ditch attempt to save the dark world and its people. Imagine the guilt he must feel.
This perfectly illustrates the message that Toby probably had when making the genocide and snowgrave routes, that there are consequences when you play god.
This is amazingly done, the acting and editing are so polished, pretty much how I imagined it while drawing the comic~ Excellent job!

In the normal route [The SOUL in Kris] probably just took an old laptop or something to castle town, everyone seems to be there, I just assumed castle town is way bigger than we see in game like how we never see where most of the monsters in undertale actually live because we can't get behind the castle where there is probably more, like in undertale when you never even see where the monster kid lives, or at least you can't get there, [The SOUL in Kris] requited NO ONE in this route so they had no way to get there, I so I just assumed this would only happen in the weird route, and in the first 10 minutes of chapter 2 [The SOUL in Kris] takes all of card kingdom to castle town, and you can't tell me they got Roules and not the addisons when they did the same at the END of chapter 2.
Damn, the scene of Mag just.. looking at Spamton NEO really got to me.
I mean think about it. These two had worked together for a good portion of their lives. And now?
The whole world’s in distress. Remaining Darkners are attempting to open the fountain again.
And now Mag is looking at his former coworker, looking as if he had transcended to god, who was frozen solid.
You happy now? Your undying curiosity has been fulfilled..
*And an entire race of people is going to die.*

The sight of solid-frozen puppet boi Spamton is horrifying and sad at the same time.
he was free ( free of his strings ) but at what cost?
I love the small detail that Spamton's strings are frozen to the ground in the last panel, as if to show that he's completely done.

i think i should not say this, as i think is obvious, but this is more like "What if the dark worlds didn't despawn after you sealed the fountain" because in deltarune after you seal a fountain, that world just dissapears (also, in case someone thinks that the dark world survives at least a day after the fountain is sealed, i think not, because King's Castle was erased in less than a day)

@@missfairrosegold7766 I'm not sure just half. He literally tells you he sold his [COMMEMORATIVE RING] to you for the exact purposes you used it for.

Spamton frozen scares me. You can see he was in pain and begging kris but it was too late for him....
THAT SPAMTON NEO IN ICE [[seems]] COOL AND [[depressing]] AND THE SAME [[time]]
2:13 they would’ve probably opened it by now because anyone with determination can make a portal

This is canon and I refuse to belive otherwise
This is a terrifying look into the aftermath of snowgrave.
I love it.
