Went with my wife to see them in Glasgow, not really my thing, but she loves them. Thought they were very good live, he has a cracking voice. Two strange things though, Ali never speaks to the crowd, and keeps walking off stage for no reason. Not having a go, just something i picked up on
Walks off stage to sniff his coke... Never talks because he talks utter drivel. Conning the public into thinking thats a live band majority is mimed he uses samples and backing tracks of the band he left 16 years ago. 2 brass players 1 sax 1 trumpet do not make that sound its a tape there pretending to play along too. Complete rip off. Nothing like the real ub40.

The others also liked their drugs etc and he ain't conning anyone he leaves that to the others with their tribute singer Matt Doyle the others should be called kioko45 @@LeeHale-m2b
