    Medicine is the most popular course in Ghana. In our world today, the human race can’t go on without falling sick at one point in their lifetime or in need of medical assistance and with the outbreak of diseases and pandemics, the medical professionals are always in want.

    I think with the nursing they have types from the least to A degree. A fresh degree holder takes more than a diploma or lower than that. And with nursing yes is a very lucrative job cos u can work anywhere not only at the hospital but also even at the mining sight where health care is needed. Also speciality in nursing makes u earn more . So yh u right on nursing been the second program to pursue

    Medicine but my result can only offered medical lab and PA ,what will I do please help me out

      I think it is always best to offer programmes that reflect our results, so the course will not be too difficult for us. You can also speak to experts in the medical field or a school counsellor.

      I think you can pursue Bsc Biochemistry a 4 years degree course ,after which you could go to a medical school for a two years advance and you’ll become a straight medical doctor ,it’s almost the same as going in for a six year degree in medicine.

      For HRM you need good links to get a job quickly, for agriculture it depends on what job you are looking for: a lot students want high paying jobs right out of school. That is where the problem is.

    I don’t believe your list. HRM really. They’re not even getting jobs in Ghana. If you had replaced marketing with hrm I would have believed. Do you know how lawyers are needed in Ghana and the salary they receive

      I agree that law is also a very lucrative career, however it wasn't added because of how difficult it is to pass the bar. Many Ghanaians to do not make it, pursuing law, but if it's your passion and you have the resources for it, then it's great.

      Law is great, however a lot of people fail the bar exams so it's tough, you have to keep that in mind. It is also very expensive and you might not necessarily get a great law firm to join. Other than that, it is a great career path as well.

      Statistics is a great course to study because there only few people in that subject area thus fewer people to compete with for jobs. If you are one of the few reading statistics then good for you!

      Journalism is a good program but quite competitive.The salary is not too attractive and you need someone to help you otherwise getting a good job can be challenging. You also have to be naturally curious and passionate about the job to make it.

      Being a doctor is the best, however some doctors earn more than others. Surgeons generally earn more than Doctors of optometry, but specializing in optometry is also pretty good.
