I do not want to make any infereces or falsehoods, however; these people you featured demonstrate many of the same qualities and behaviors of many of the youth I work with. Each person struggles to take any accountibilty and seems to struggle with any insight regarding their lack of communication skills. I find it Each of them really has no real idea the potential for serious legal implications. It is typically for someone to garnish sympathy to avoid accountibility or excuse their poor behaviors. Especially, the first individual with the apology. I think he has some awarenss to the severity, but really does not understand how serious the consequences can become. Anyways, I understand this is a gross generalization, but I see some strong correlations bewtween the youth I wortk with (especially those with intellectual deficiences and acute autism) and the persons you have featured. Not to overgeneralize, but lack of guilt, awareess, or shame is typically coexistant with ASD and/or an intellectual struggle. That being said, there is no excuse for engaging in antisocial or unsafe behaviors sorroudning CP.
