Despite lacking the more meteoric success of a lot of Yogscast members, Hat Films is undoubtedly the best entertainers. I don't think there's anyone who could offer a genuinely good argument to the contrary, I mean their chemistry is unmatched, their creativity is fantastic, their jokes are great. The fact you can probably place them with any other group of Yogs members and the experience is immediately heightened says a lot.

Ah, another victim of hatiocarditis.
The late stages are grim. You start talking in a thick scouse accent, and you begin to refer to objects and people around you as "SCREAMER" or "SALMON BOY". Victims can be heard repeating the phrase "with your friends" and "we know that one" over and over again. As the Hat parasite takes over, the emulation of behaviour intensifies. The constant eggy farts drive you into total social isolation, while the neverending mistakes when playing Worms destroy all chances of ever attracting a mate. As their end approaches, victims become a channel member. Ultimately, they end up in Chris Trott's secret biolab where they will be held alive to serve as barely conscious, husk-like test objects for improving the Hat disease.

While they don’t disclose a lot on the business side of things, I think they said once that as a condition of joining polaris (A collection of online media and mostly TH-camrs that ultimately traces back to disney) that hatfilms had to be a close affiliate of the yogscast in order to join in under the umbrella. Usually this means at least some portion of ownership, so I wouldn’t be surprised if yogscast (and by extension Lewis) held atleast 10% of the hatfilms boiks.
