Context needed: Gvardiol has been a left sided CB and Pep has been playing him out of position all season, mostly as a left sided wingback. It’s taken him the better part of the season to get going with it, but now he’s not only playing the role very well in the last 2 months, but stepping up and scoring big goals such as at Real Madrid and 5 goals in the past 7 PL games. Let that sink in…he’s just turned 22 and has been a professional CB and is now a starting wingback for one of the best sides in the world and banging in goals. Wow!

The midfielder that City needs is Kimmich. Pay the 50mil for him and have him become the player to help Rodri at CDM and RB (if needs be). He's the perfect player for Pep and City because he has a decade of experience at the highest level, he knows how Pep plays and he's just so good. With him in the squad as well we get enough time to develop Rico who is to slot in at RB when Walker goes
