    Brother Arvind so easily and in a understanding way you have shown and explained the difficult chords their positions,strumming patterns with vocals.When I heard this song some 25 years back I liked it and found something different in this song but did not get it now you revealed it.

    Beautiful singing beautiful playing and beautiful teaching.
    The 9th the Sus and so much more.
    I think you have a falling for the sus sounds and love them. You have covered quite a few of them. F#Sus2 drill in past helps here.
    Thanks for the lesson.
    Will practice and post.
    Many congratulations to both the vocalists for the treat given in the lesson (very late in the vid to check the patience of the students I guess.)
    Your sound can bring people back from deathbeds. What a charming sound.
    The strumming was too good.
    Lesson will keep people of all levels busy for sometime.
    The trivia regarding Marathi musicians was a treat to the ears.
    I am sure you have your own experience as music director to share with us someday.
    Thanks for this high quality work.
    Much appreciated.

      Thanks a lot Doctor Saab for the feedback and comments🙏🙏🙏😊😊♥️♥️♥️♥️ Sus chords were used quite often in those times and they give a very soothing + pahadi / nepali folk songs' effect. Besides sus chords, I like the min+ add9 chords, actually used in chalte chalte mere ye geet's interlude, as well.
      Bappida was strong at tabla and Anil-Arun were strong at melodic instruments, so they created terrific compositions and got nice sounds in the 70s / early 80s imo. In general, violins were very effectively used by that team as late as the late 80s!!!

    • @drkhandal
      @drkhandal 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ArunArvindMusic Bapi Da had talent and understood market and times better. So he had done both routine work which the masses can enjoy and special work which real music lovers/ musicians can enjoy.
      As expected high quality work only can drain one out and doesn’t pay. That became the unbecoming of RD in 80s even his utterly flop tracks are so musically loaded. Bappi kept weight away from his shoulders and did routine work for routine occasions. And the special ones were it is difficult to differentiate him from RDs work.
      Thanks again 🙏🙏🙏

    Hello Arun ji, nice lesson...for me it's impossible to hold G Sus2 chord at 9.00. I think one needs to have really long finger.

    • @ArunArvindMusic
      @ArunArvindMusic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Suryaji♥️♥️😊😊🙏🙏Good question indeed, I will suggest you this:
      1) When we use Barre chords, our 1st finger is parallel to the frets. For the sus chord, the position that I showed, we have to set fingers at roughly 30 - 60 degrees to the frets - so at an angle. If we look at the fretboard from the front, fingers 1 to 4 will be probably along 1-7 or 2-8 axis on a clock - with fret along 3-9 axis.
      2) if with this angle it is still difficult then ignore the thumb and play using fingers 1 to 4. So you will play strings 2,3,4,5. You will have to practise this position for a few weeks to months so that the fingers and brain both get accustomed to this shape. So please be patient.
      3) Last option, so that you don't give up and can practise immediately, is to take an alternate position which will be: xx5785 or 555785 (from 6th to 1st string). This will give a bit of a different sound but still will be usable. It's a Barre chord, 3rd finger on str3-7th fret, 4th finger on str2-8th fret.
      All the best👍

    • @suryanmisra
      @suryanmisra 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ArunArvindMusic It's really nice to get such a detailed suggestion from a mastero, thank you Arun ji.
      I will go for option 3 as other options are good for tender aged person where hand muscles can be reshaped easily.
      I am also thinking if it can be done with xx5435 or another option could be to try with smaller fret guitars (if available).

      G major key makes use of high f# in the antara! It is indeed very high. Hence I asked Sarikaji to do the singing 😊 Yes, feel free to reduce the key by half or 1 note, no point in hurting ourselves ie. our throat, stomach. All the best👍❤️
