Ok, but your mind 😍 This systemic, thematic, but still “room to mood read” approach is so smart and unique! If I have any critiques, it’s that it’s the opposite of a catastrophe as presently envisioned! I have no doubt that you’re going to crush your goals in 2025. I’ve been doing a bad job of keeping up with my TBR, mostly because abrupt moves have left me with most of my books in storage inaccessible to me, but I think with a plan this thorough, I could find a way to get my TBR list down with a judicious use of Libby/planning around hold times, and that may be the ticket. Thank you as always for the undo, Olivia ♥️
The room to mood read really needed to be there as someone who cannot deal with TBRs 😅 I am in awe of all you TBR readers 😃 Moving will do that, so that’s completely understandable. Hopefully a library will help and as you settle into your new place maybe some books can come along with 💕
I really need to do something similar this year! Your system sounds like so much fun, I love the idea of having different themes and stages each month. I hope we both manage to reduce (and enjoy!) our TBRs in 2025 x
I love this in all the ways - sing links, plans for each month! I am especially excited about sequels in June! 3:37 - March plan i relate to so hard. I have so many...intrigued to see how many I have. I call them my "perfect reading moment books" I heard Leanne refer to them as rainy day books. I want a reading retreat - a booktube escape to a cabin in the woods where we can bring books that need quality reading time! What an exciting challenge - I'm now watching it again, as I had a listen whilst on school run. Now enjoying the visuals 💜📚😂
@OliviasCatastrophe I hope March brings delightful sunshine so you can get a blanket, pack your books into a trundle trolly (Matilda style) and wheel them to a park and spend reading days in the best way💜📚 excited forbtue 2025 content comingnour way!
This is such a fun idea! I’m also going to be spending 2025 focusing on my physical TBR - I made a TBR jar with all my unread books and hope to pick 3-5 each month to get to.
Great plan Olivia. I need to pay some attention to my TBR too for sure! Glad you’ve given yourself a month at the end of the year to mood read. That’s what I’ve done this December and I’m loving having a free pass to read whatever I fancy.
I love this challenge and how you picked a theme each month! I'm also doing a tbr reduction project that I started this year but decided to put on hold until next year called Read it or Reap. I will definitely come back to yours for inspiration through the year too!
I love how you are doing this. I might switch Jan & Feb round as for some reason I always love a big book in Jan. I will try and join in as much as possible. You are the challenge QWWWWWEEEEN so you got this💪
Im not sure why i've stopped watching booktube but still subscribe to do many. This sounds like something id love to join though! I want to read what i have and trying to overall declutter my life and everything. So this feels like a great help!
Balancing the books mention - that's nostalgic :- ) Okay I'm hyped for the series, I love how you're approaching it from all the angles. And the themed music snippets? Perfection :- D
These sound so fun! I tend to not read the books I think I’m going to love and read the ones I’m less excited about first. I don’t know why!! But that’s going to change next year. I need new favorite books!
YES! Im looking forward to this!! I am taking this year to tackle my TBR too :) I think I am going to try and do a monthly check in but ive not been really motivated to make videos! I love the music too :) Such a fab idea to split it into challenges and I do the same with 5 star predictions!
We have got this 💪🏾 our TBRs will be tackled!! It can be tricky when not motivated but be kind to yourself - tackling the TBR whether on film or not is more than enough 🙂
Love the musical inspiration for each month, and love the idea of this challenge! I'll definitely be joining in with the graphic novel/manga month because my TBR for both of those is huge 😂 Good luck with the whole challenge!
My physical TBR is usually less than 50, so I really only worry about it in terms of trying to be better about not letting books linger for years unread. I do have some re-reads planned for next year (mostly of books that I last read 15-25 years ago), but I'm also trying to put a lot of thought into the books that I decide to purchase next year.
I need to keep up with putting thought into what I acquire as well! And it’s good to get to the oldest books when you can so they do actually get read ✨
Good luck! Can't wait to see how your challenge goes. :) I have about 430 unread physical books and will see how my reading next year goes. I might join in on some month with you.
I love these challenges. I think for series, I want to make it through some series to either keep or get rid of. I think everything on my tbr is BIG book 😅 but i need my tbr down at least 60% read. I think one month is do my Backlist author to read her book or at least some of her book. Im still debating if I want to restart the twisted tales disney series
I'm living for the theme here! Best of luck with your challenge, I can't wait to see you absolutely boss it this year! 💙

Love the way you are doing this it’s so much fun 🎉🎉🎉 I plan to do re reads next year to help me sort through my read books
I hope you enjoy rereading some favourites ☺️
Love the theming! It sounds like that will keep the challenge fun and fresh for you each month.
Hopefully! I didn’t want it to feel too samey 🥰
I really need to do something similar this year! Your system sounds like so much fun, I love the idea of having different themes and stages each month. I hope we both manage to reduce (and enjoy!) our TBRs in 2025 x
And enjoy is an important part 😌 I hope you do in 2025 too 😋

What an exciting challenge

Perfect reading moments and rainy day books make a lot of sense! We just happen to store them up 😅 a reading retreat would be dreamy 🤩
@OliviasCatastrophe I hope March brings delightful sunshine so you can get a blanket, pack your books into a trundle trolly (Matilda style) and wheel them to a park and spend reading days in the best way💜📚 excited forbtue 2025 content comingnour way!
love how you planned each month! and the music moments are top tier haha ❤
Hehehe thank you 🎶
This is such a fun idea! I’m also going to be spending 2025 focusing on my physical TBR - I made a TBR jar with all my unread books and hope to pick 3-5 each month to get to.
Ooh love a TBR jar idea! I hope it helps you narrow it down somewhat 💪🏾
The music moments were iconic! Good luck with your challenge!
Thank you 😙

Mood reading is so fun and it’s admittedly how I function 100% of the time, so the themed months will be its own challenge too 😄
I love this challenge and how you picked a theme each month! I'm also doing a tbr reduction project that I started this year but decided to put on hold until next year called Read it or Reap. I will definitely come back to yours for inspiration through the year too!
I remember your read it or reap videos! When you get back to it next year, I hope it all goes well 😊
I love the way you’ve structured this and I can’t wait to see how you do! Good luck! ☺️💛
Thank you so much!! Need to get some inspiration from the size of your TBR 😚
I love how you are doing this. I might switch Jan & Feb round as for some reason I always love a big book in Jan. I will try and join in as much as possible. You are the challenge QWWWWWEEEEN so you got this💪
It makes sense to want to read a thick book in the thick of winter! ❄️ thank you for the support 🥹
Great ideas and hope this really helps reduce the tbr down!! Sounds like good fun 🎄
Thank you! And I hope you’re doing well x
Im not sure why i've stopped watching booktube but still subscribe to do many. This sounds like something id love to join though! I want to read what i have and trying to overall declutter my life and everything. So this feels like a great help!
Please do join 😇 the more the merrier! And declutterring life generally sounds so relaxing 😌
Balancing the books mention - that's nostalgic :- ) Okay I'm hyped for the series, I love how you're approaching it from all the angles. And the themed music snippets? Perfection :- D
It was an iconic and creative way to do wrap ups! Thank you 🎶 I can't wait to get started!
What a fantastic idea! Excited to see how this goes for you!
Yay, thank you! ☺️
Love the way you are doing this, and doing something different for each month! I hopefully will join for some of the months, my TBR is huge!!
It would be fun to have you joining in! We can conquer those TBRs 💪🏾
These sound so fun! I tend to not read the books I think I’m going to love and read the ones I’m less excited about first. I don’t know why!! But that’s going to change next year. I need new favorite books!
It is so strange that we hold off like that!! Yess we are going to find those favourite books next year 💪🏾
I LOVE THIS!!!! the songs omg iconic
Hahaha thank you 😄
Yes to strategic reading!
Yess 🔥

Love the musical inspiration for each month, and love the idea of this challenge! I'll definitely be joining in with the graphic novel/manga month because my TBR for both of those is huge 😂 Good luck with the whole challenge!
Music inspires me so much in life 😄 Yess we can team up for the graphic novels and manga 🙌🏾
@@OliviasCatastrophe I look foward to it!
You are the only booktuber I know who has a bigger TBR than me :)
Haha not sure if that’s a good thing 😅 I know Gavin’s is larger than mine, at least 😮💨
My physical TBR is usually less than 50, so I really only worry about it in terms of trying to be better about not letting books linger for years unread. I have about 430 unread physical books and will see how my reading next year goes. I might join in on some month with you.
It would be fun to do a month or two along with you! 🤍
I need to get through my physical TBR for real so this is a great idea!
I hope getting through yours next year goes well too 👏🏾
Oooo this is such a cool challenge you've set yourself!! Good luck 💜💜
Thank you 🙏🏾✨
Sounds a fantastic plan, will join in too xx
Yay! I hope it goes well for both of us 😚
This sounds so cool! I’m planning on focusing on my unread books next year too, might have to on a ban! lol 😅
A buying ban would help… I should probably consider it too 🙈 you got this!!
You channeled Beyoncé 👌🏼
I love all these titles 🍑
Beyhive now and forever 🐝

Sometimes series take up so much shelf space so it’s good to know if they are staying or you can clear some space!! We can conquer those TBRs 💪🏾
