this song is so near and dear to me. I've always been a fan of them. I recently broke up with my boyfriend of over 7 years of pain and abuse. I finally grew strong enough to not give in to him and just leave. it's hard. and it's not over. I get harassed by him constantly. over the phone, he shows up at my work place, he still says the most hateful things. he tries to break me down.. but im stronger then that, and it took me forever to figure that out. I feel ya i was in an abusive relationship for 5 years and got out safe people always say "why don't you just leave" and its never that easy it can be dangerous if they're an aggressive person and also because of course you love them and want to help them do better you see the potential to be a good person in them but sometimes you gotta love yourself more and want yourself to do better and not give a shit about the person who has hurt you for years love and patience isn't enough some times and also breaking up with them sometimes doesn't work i broke up with her so many times and she would flip out and break shit and attack me she spit on me before left bruises damaged property so at some point i had to use all the strength i had to keep plotting on my escape(she lived with me and my mom towards the end so that was difficult). She skipped a job interview i had set up for her because she could never hold a job and she left to Florida for her sisters wedding and expected me to just drop everything and go and so i took that as my out and told her that was the last straw i was sick of struggling being the only one holding down a job and paying for everything i had $89 when i left her and i packed all her shit got my stuff out of storage and told her I'm done. Had to pay off over $4,000 in damages to our first apartment on top of paying 400 a month for my dentist and helping my mom pay bills. I'm finally starting to save money because everything is paid off but it's really hard to get over that shit no matter how bad they hurt you and put you in debt you still miss the good moments you had together.
So many teens and kids look up to him as a hero. I even do he has gone through so much and comes out stronger every time. He truly cares about his fans.
I recently stumbled across some of my old accounts (including this one) and it's crazy how different things are now. It's been 5 years, and I can't believe I made it this far, I never thought I'd be alive to even see my graduation. My hope is that anyone who is struggling to hold on will keep just doing what you're doing. I turn this song on and I automatically know that I'm ok, because even if no one else does, I know Ronnie believes in me. He might not believe in me individually, but he believes in all of us, he believes we can all make it through our hardships in life. He believes we all have the strength to stand up for ourselves, fight for what's right, forgive ourselves for our past mistakes and live on like today is our last. You only live once, and Ronnies has helped me realize that we cant end that life too soon, we can't make that life any harder on ourselves, we just have to live like there is no tomorrow. Everyone makes mistakes, but those mistakes are what show us we are still human.

My whole family is homophobic and transphobic and I'm almost always having suicidal thoughts. Whenever I get them, I play this song or play it in my head and it always helps me feel better. This song has a shit ton of meaning towards me. I suffer from major depression, anxiety, and even some other shit and I get depressed fairly easily. My whole family is homophobic and transphobic and I'm almost always having suicidal thoughts. Whenever I get them, I play this song or play it in my head and it always helps me feel better. I'm so glad I found FIR and all my other emo bands I listen to; they all saved me. I'm almost done with my first year of high school. So proud to say Ronnie saved me the most.

I've liked them for quite awhile. and while they have some songs that aren't appropriate, they definitely are a fantastic band. I would die to get a ticket to see them, and see the band that makes my everyday life that's easier. I not only love this song, I relate to much, it's sad and scary.
