Vern thanks for the humor and showing warts and all. I appreciate the logical thought processes and the use of of vintage test equipment. I like seeing you using an oscilloscope, I usually use a VTVM, but the scope easily showed when oscillation occurred. I appreciated you showing using an attenuator for the least amount of RF to align the radio. It's an important step some don't show.
Your vids really get me laughing sometimes, you've got a great sense of humor. I've done very little as far as repairing tube sets like these so it's a fun experience for me to watch you do oldies like this. I no longer have any of my old test equipment around the same vintage as some of yours and I really wish I'd have kept them now, but I've got everything I need still, even if it's much more modern. Keep up the good work, I and it looks like lots of other people are enjoying your monkey business.
Hi Vern, did I miss the part where you say what point you're probing with the scope when doing the IF alignment? Is it the high side of the volume pot?

4464, we meet again…fixed one of these for a guy who was given it when he was 14. He’s 74 or so now. Was fun to watch him hear it after all that time.

It's working well 👍🙂

@@derstrom8 I believe I did, but yes it's the high side of the pot. At my age I may have forgotten 😀
@@theradiomechanic9625 Great, thank you! I probably just missed it.
