WKU gave Gonzaga all they wanted in this one. Shame the timeout wasn't recognized but understandable in the heat of the moment. The last 10 seconds of this one are crazy! A.J. Slaughter and Orlando Mendez-Valdez were standouts for the Toppers in this one!

WKU wins this game and maybe the history of basketball is changed. Maybe WKU becomes the top-tier Mid-Major program that Gonzaga is now, maybe not, but it certainly added to the monster run Gonzaga has held on to for years now.

WKU has been a historical program for a long time now since the 60s, arguably 30s.

Gonzaga fan since late 1998... going frame by frame, it looks to me like some coaches are hurrying players back on defense and some are trying to call time out... dunno what the timeout situation was... the name Mendez-Valdez is in my memory and I hope he's doing okay and I hope everyone here is doing well, too
