I really sucked at the game until i found my style. I had always been really good mechanically but never had a strat that i understood (So i tended to feed cause id be scrambling around the map :P) until i started watching Trick, then my whole life MADE SENSE. XD My completely objective focused playstyle really shines with Nasus (who i already loved prior, but i learned) and Udyr. The gates game is real yo.
Udyr way OP with madstone and will have mana problems without it. Idk wtf Foxdrop talking about, but Godyr is dead with those upcoming items and these kids are talking sh!t with gates.

I ran a test with every single champ in the game of who could clear the jungle at what length, with what kinda health left- and frankly for most just how much of it- in the early game *with no leash because of course no one wanted to join in just to leash for me repeatedly in customs* and a few of the champs who did really well in that regard that i feel can also impact the game heavily you didnt mention were aatrox, olaf, nunu, sion, skarner, trundle, mao, vi, amumu, xin zhao, noc, and panth. obviously you weren't going to talk about every champ i'm just adding on that these champs from what i tested were also seemingly very good; though i dont actually necessarily agree that your 4 were the "top" picks either but thats a different matter and depends on personal playstyle and i think a little bit opinionated anyways
it's not just about early clear. Trundle and Olaf are generally in a bad spot right now, as well as Aatrox, Xin and Noc. Olaf is too susceptible to getting killed before even reaching anyone, even with Ult active, Trundle is mostly an anti-tank in a meta with very few tanks being played and his base defensive stats are lacking because of his tank-buster ult, so I doubt he will be played again. Aatrox has horrible base stats and falls off like a brick. In addition to that, his ganks are quite difficult to pull off sometimes, so he can have problems establishing the lead he needs to be of any use. Xin is about the same, just with better stats and worse mobility. Nocturnes Ult is ridiculously underpowered, if I want a global engage I rather play Panth. They really need to buff his ult sooner than later, whether it's CD or range. Apart from that, I doubt that except for WW, Fiddle and maybe some other Devourer offenders (probably the 2-3 best, the rest will still be mostly ignored), junglers that are currently non-meta will see more play time. And that's until Riot realizes they ridiculously overtuned Skirmisher that has the most broken synergy with Devourer offenders. Although the contribution to this being OP is 70% Devourer, 30% Skirmisher I'd say and I promise that we'll see a nerf pretty soon if it hits live with the latest PBE values
to CL23; i tested their ability to handle the jungle early cause its farstronger; CLEAR TIMES, and OVERALL GAME IMPACT. i agree it isn't just about clear thats why i said that and tested that >.>; i agree on the olaf one im not a huge fan of him but he is above average on my tier list still, trundle is somewhat a hidden gem i'd say and he actually works quite well in the new jungle tbh especially with chilling smite;

I agree, he's a little more tricky then the others but a lot stronger. He's not necessarily better in the jungle then udyr or warwick, but he's good in a 1v1 vs udyr and warwick. Which makes him strong if enemy players pick this meta played champs. (warwick, shaco yi, udyr)
I main Diana, and will basically play her anywhere (aside from bot lane of course) and I was just wondering if she is still a clearing beast and is she relevant in the s5 jungle? I know the mage-y item sounds like it would be very good on her, but I dunno. I haven't had a chance to try it myself, so what are your opinions?
what enchantment would you say for shaco? I almost want to say devourer would be good since he doesn't need to perma farm for it, but at the same time the other enchantment might be better
What are your thougts on Maokai? I have been playing him a LOT before his rework with the ulti because my computer died, but haven't really had the chance to try him with all the updates and tweaks. The biggest problem with the rework in my opinion is the crazy tiny range on twisted advance
I've been starting to get back into jungling and Warwick has always been one of my favorite champions. Its nice to see that he'll be getting buffed in thsi coming season with all of the jungle changes.
How do you feel about pantheon? he was good at not taking damage before kind of like shaco. His invades can be just as strong same with his ganks and he makes use of even more armorpen from the warrior jungler item putting him into a pretty ridiculous range of penetration if you build black cleaver and last whisper.
What's the yellowish necklace looking item in your inventory during the warwick section? You have the blue smite there so I'm assuming it's a weird version of the stalker's blade but I just have no idea what the item is

what i foudn you didnt add to fiddles part, is that with his drain and blue buff, even at just level two, you can zone down, and drain dragon so well, that if no one comes, you can get dragon as early as 3:30-4:50 depending on your runes and masterys.
I'd like it if you made a written article (I think that's the word?) for those champions, like their first clear route, what to build on them.. etc. It would help people who aren't exactly good with memorizing what to do from just a video, would be highly appreciated, love your vids, man. :3

I think pantheon is also a op jungler now. I mean like he could solo dragon at lvl 3 or 2 because dragon attacks really slow but painful and before the dragon could even damage panth , his passive (his shield) would be up , preventing damage to be taken. But u have to upgrade your hunters machete after taking blue or red and backing to spawn so that u actually deal damage to the dragon
Nunu hype! Chowing down on monsters will be a heck of a lot more fun now, especially with the poachers jungle item - roll up to the enemy jungle, take everything and leave. On top of that, He will likely be at very high health due to his Consume, so it's unlikely he'll be murdered easily if he's invaded/invading!
Doubt I'll grab a response but figured I'd give it a shot. You seem to really enjoy the new Auto Attack based junglers who can sustain or clear very easily, like WW and Udyr. So I've been thinking, is Yi really solid now? The new feral flare item is much better on its progression, he has meditate for sustain, and his alpha strike is MADE for clearing monsters. Curious if you think he can be a solid carry-based jungler or if he's still extremely average because of his teamfight
the thing with ww and udyr is that they also build tanky; they can make TONS of autos before dying, increasing the damage from devorer drasticly. yi will be buffed, yes, but ww and udyr will outclass him. he will also sell the feral at late game, making the stacks not so impactful. about teamfights, you should be splitpushing or farming with yi :P
***** i had the same problem as you in s4 , so i avoided playing jungle completely. and while this jungle seems confusing , it isn't really. i highly recommend playing jungle this season, but better watch a video first to get a pattern.
Aatrox is great in the new jungle too :) Amazing ganks, can use w on the river turtle thing to get almost full hp due to its high armor, and is great at 1v1ing. You can also both buy the slow or 1v1 upgrade to hunters machete
What's the verdict on Rek Sai? I've switched to maining her and I really enjoy her playstyle and she can totally carry a game. Granted her ult is useless with a team that manages her tunnels well but she seems to do well in team fights, has solid ganks and good clear speeds. I'm still unranked however so I'm not sure how she stands up there. I'm still trying to find my "true" jung main. I just bought noct and love his playstyle but I don't think he's truly top tier at the moment. Might consider going to shaco, dunno. Thoughts?
If you enjoy Reksai's play style, and nocturne, I'd consider Udyr. He's got lockdown (like reksai and noc) amazing MS to chase or get away, very good jungle sustain(trailblazers and he's op), can go tanky with phoenix and still do good damage, or AD and carry hard with tiger depending on what your team needs. Very versatile, played right? Always a good pick. Been playing him for ages.
Another massive strength of Shaco is his dragon control. The scuttle crab gives that false sense of security about taking it and he can easily bypass it and solo it.

***** He's a counter jungling nightmare already. Unless Riot decides to nerf his Q, he's only gonna get more powerful. And since Q also sustains him, much like WW and Fiddle, he won't have any trouble with the new jungle.
Dude you're forgetting nunu... nunu with poachers knife denies SO much jungle. And the chicken buff means he can slay a ward then camp it for a surprise ult in the usual nunu fashion. Nunu definitely belongs on this list mate :/

Honestly I'd say nunu has had one of the biggest power boosts, his q is basically a healing smite so early dragons are easy, and with the way the dragon buffs work taking control of it can win the game.
Udyr can easily combat Warwick for the same reasons. Devourer is bound to be nerfed into the ground like Flare, but going tiger stance on him gives him so much magic damage, physical damage, and if you have the skirmisher's blade, true damage. Forget Ranger's, he clears fast already, and by the time you have devourer, you basically don't lose hp to monsters anymore.
Nope. Lee is pretty much gone sadly (well maybe if you play him support he will still be viable). Most tops will be AA champions with smite that can snowball early and splitpush late gamew no problem. Lee has none of that. Hmm maybe mid, but that will just make the team have too much AD.
I think Warwick's position as an OP jungler in Season 5 depends heavily on when he gets that rework Riot posted a while back. His passive heal would be a flat 5 hp per hit that scales with his max hp, so his sustain will be stunted, especially because he won't have his Hungering Strike to give him a huge burst of hp. His ganks pre 6 would be stronger, because of him gaining a PBAoE fear, but his ult is becoming a skillshot that can be body blocked and looks like it won't apply on hit affects ( could be reading that wrong though), and won't give him life steal for the duration or scale off his AD.
foxdropLoL - Be a Better League Player When talking about Shaco you mention Trailblazer, Skirmisher and counterjungling. Is the poacher item, which was made for counterjungling, not worth it?
What about Jax ? He can stack the devourer really easily and it just makes his godly lategame even more scary. Also he takes almost no damage in the jungle with his e, has an AoE stun for teamfights, fine early ganks with q and e, and he can get two tanky items while still one-shoting ADCs. With his ult he can also get around 250 armor and mr full build. I kind of see him as a better version of ww.
You definitely forget about Xin played on Attackspeed with a Blade of the Ruined and Devouring and just some Tanky Items and maybe a zephyr.... He is an Hyperlategamecarry

Foxdrop, what do you think about Leona in the new jungle? I did a test in a custom game with her to see how she is and she is extremely healthy due to her W's resistances steroid and being able to stun the huge jungle creeps so much with her Q. Not to mention I think the AoE smite will be extremely useful to people like her and Shen to drastically increase clear speeds even though they are slow tanks. All that with being being a very strong ganker like Maokai is with hard CC locking and gap closers, I think she would be a pretty strong choice in S5.
Well if anything, given the right paths/leash/runes anyone is a potential jungler, Leona definitely has the crazy cc but her passive damage does come from others hitting what she's hitting, you should try her out I want to see how Morde works personally :)
I haven't tried Leona jg on S5 yet but I think she's a niche pick. She has stupid amount of cc. But her clear is pretty terrible on early stages. Don't talk about once you get your items since getting your items is hard. I think, if you really want to succeed as her, you have to gank 24/7 and hope your laner follow up.
Her clear speed is so bad and you need good clear speed in the new jungle else you suffer for hp and your team suffer from not getting gangs cause you have to back more often
Not sure i like this new jungle because it seems that some junglers will completely dominate EVERYONE and be the only people being picked. I dont like this because i like to get creative on who i play. anyways, what do you think about khazix, rammus, or eve. these are my mains and im not sure whether i go in to s5 games with them anymore.
Why did you never smite an enemy with the blue smite? For example: you flashed for lucian one time (when he was really low life) instead of easily smiting him
Warwick probably going to get nerfed asap or with patch 4.20 (blaze it) Riot said they were going to rework him soon but I just don't see him staying like that.

Doubt I'll grab a response but figured I'd give it a shot. You seem to really enjoy the new Auto Attack based junglers who can sustain or clear very easily, like WW and Udyr. So I've been thinking, is Yi really solid now? The new feral flare item is much better on its progression, he has meditate for sustain, and his alpha strike is MADE for clearing monsters. Curious if you think he can be a solid carry-based jungler or if he's still extremely average because of his teamfight
the thing with ww and udyr is that they also build tanky; they can make TONS of autos before dying, increasing the damage from devorer drasticly. yi will be buffed, yes, but ww and udyr will outclass him. he will also sell the feral at late game, making the stacks not so impactful. about teamfights, you should be splitpushing or farming with yi :P
hmmm... i can't jung in s4, and with the new items in s5, should i try and learn it now, or just wait till the new items come out?

***** i had the same problem as you in s4 , so i avoided playing jungle completely. and while this jungle seems confusing , it isn't really. i highly recommend playing jungle this season, but better watch a video first to get a pattern.
Aatrox is great in the new jungle too :) Amazing ganks, can use w on the river turtle thing to get almost full hp due to its high armor, and is great at 1v1ing. You can also both buy the slow or 1v1 upgrade to hunters machete

What's the verdict on Rek Sai? I've switched to maining her and I really enjoy her playstyle and she can totally carry a game. Granted her ult is useless with a team that manages her tunnels well but she seems to do well in team fights, has solid ganks and good clear speeds. I'm still unranked however so I'm not sure how she stands up there. I'm still trying to find my "true" jung main. I just bought noct and love his playstyle but I don't think he's truly top tier at the moment. Might consider going to shaco, dunno. Thoughts?
If you enjoy Reksai's play style, and nocturne, I'd consider Udyr. He's got lockdown (like reksai and noc) amazing MS to chase or get away, very good jungle sustain(trailblazers and he's op), can go tanky with phoenix and still do good damage, or AD and carry hard with tiger depending on what your team needs. Very versatile, played right? Always a good pick. Been playing him for ages.
I've been playing udyr and he's a total hoss. Bought the sg skin for him too haha thanks for the recommendation!

Another massive strength of Shaco is his dragon control. The scuttle crab gives that false sense of security about taking it and he can easily bypass it and solo it.

He's a counter jungling nightmare already. Unless Riot decides to nerf his Q, he's only gonna get more powerful. And since Q also sustains him, much like WW and Fiddle, he won't have any trouble with the new jungle.

Dude you're forgetting nunu... nunu with poachers knife denies SO much jungle. And the chicken buff means he can slay a ward then camp it for a surprise ult in the usual nunu fashion. Nunu definitely belongs on this list mate :/

He has a weak early game but his mid and late game are quite awesome!
Honestly I'd say nunu has had one of the biggest power boosts, his q is basically a healing smite so early dragons are easy, and with the way the dragon buffs work taking control of it can win the game.
I feel like Nocturne will be super good in this jungle due to Warrior, Juggernaut and Devourer all being pretty good on him. Any thoughts?
Udyr can easily combat Warwick for the same reasons. Devourer is bound to be nerfed into the ground like Flare, but going tiger stance on him gives him so much magic damage, physical damage, and if you have the skirmisher's blade, true damage. Forget Ranger's, he clears fast already, and by the time you have devourer, you basically don't lose hp to monsters anymore.
This may be a stupid question but do you think lee top will get a bit more popular again because of the new jungle changes?
Nope. Lee is pretty much gone sadly (well maybe if you play him support he will still be viable). Most tops will be AA champions with smite that can snowball early and splitpush late gamew no problem. Lee has none of that. Hmm maybe mid, but that will just make the team have too much AD.

I think Warwick's position as an OP jungler in Season 5 depends heavily on when he gets that rework Riot posted a while back. His passive heal would be a flat 5 hp per hit that scales with his max hp, so his sustain will be stunted, especially because he won't have his Hungering Strike to give him a huge burst of hp.
His ganks pre 6 would be stronger, because of him gaining a PBAoE fear, but his ult is becoming a skillshot that can be body blocked and looks like it won't apply on hit affects ( could be reading that wrong though), and won't give him life steal for the duration or scale off his AD.
foxdropLoL - Be a Better League Player When talking about Shaco you mention Trailblazer, Skirmisher and counterjungling. Is the poacher item, which was made for counterjungling, not worth it?

What about Jax ? He can stack the devourer really easily and it just makes his godly lategame even more scary. Also he takes almost no damage in the jungle with his e, has an AoE stun for teamfights, fine early ganks with q and e, and he can get two tanky items while still one-shoting ADCs. With his ult he can also get around 250 armor and mr full build. I kind of see him as a better version of ww.

Foxdrop, what do you think about Leona in the new jungle? I did a test in a custom game with her to see how she is and she is extremely healthy due to her W's resistances steroid and being able to stun the huge jungle creeps so much with her Q. Not to mention I think the AoE smite will be extremely useful to people like her and Shen to drastically increase clear speeds even though they are slow tanks.
All that with being being a very strong ganker like Maokai is with hard CC locking and gap closers, I think she would be a pretty strong choice in S5.
Well if anything, given the right paths/leash/runes anyone is a potential jungler, Leona definitely has the crazy cc but her passive damage does come from others hitting what she's hitting, you should try her out I want to see how Morde works personally :)
I haven't tried Leona jg on S5 yet but I think she's a niche pick. She has stupid amount of cc. But her clear is pretty terrible on early stages. Don't talk about once you get your items since getting your items is hard. I think, if you really want to succeed as her, you have to gank 24/7 and hope your laner follow up.
Her clear speed is so bad and you need good clear speed in the new jungle else you suffer for hp and your team suffer from not getting gangs cause you have to back more often
Not sure i like this new jungle because it seems that some junglers will completely dominate EVERYONE and be the only people being picked. I dont like this because i like to get creative on who i play. anyways, what do you think about khazix, rammus, or eve. these are my mains and im not sure whether i go in to s5 games with them anymore.
Why did you never smite an enemy with the blue smite? For example: you flashed for lucian one time (when he was really low life) instead of easily smiting him
Warwick probably going to get nerfed asap or with patch 4.20 (blaze it) Riot said they were going to rework him soon but I just don't see him staying like that.
