Hutson's at a disadvantage in out muscling, checking, board battling, protecting the net front etc = stick infractions because he defends with his stick and especially when in an unideal position. I thought Primeau had an excellent game last night. Isles could've easily run away with it in the 3rd when the boys decided to go on a never ending parade to the box.
Everyone dumps on Baron, knowing more than Crosby, who said Col. shouldn't have traded him. Just look at the Col. small-porous defense this year. Baron is an offensive threat (skating and shooting) but is getting more physical using his good size. Lately, his plus/minus and hitting stats are good, unlike some of his peers. Projected as a top 4 on any NHL team...like Sergachev he will mature elsewhere and have great success before the Habs get back in the playoffs. He is humble and open about what he is working on, right now its defensive-zone footwork, as he said in an interview. This open growth mindset is refreshing. For future playoff success, Logan M., Cayden G., David 'bacher, J. Baron will be the top 4 if the Habs want to compete in the playoffs. Arber and Hutson will be 5 & 6 and if they mature as projected, could slide up. Except for Guhle, when contracts are up any could be moved.
