Cheers dude, great how too! I had notches whilst steering. Stripped down, had too straighten bottom bearing casing before re assembly. Cleaned. Re greased. Now better than new!
After driving through a pothole, my steering had a high resistance in the middle but be smooth on the left or right side so it just felt very instable. Thanks to your video, I fixed the problem in less than 2 hours (I've never done this before). You showed every detail very well.
I get a CLICk when accelerating and the same CLICK back when braking, it seems like it comes from the fork as it is not that famous metal on metal hinge sound. Does it ring any bells to you, what could be the problem? :)
@@RMFUNTIK No, actually it is the connection between the pole and pole base, they are glued and this creates the CLICK sound. Here is the video explaining it: th-cam.com/video/Oi75ghEYPI0/w-d-xo.html
i have the same, they all to, because of metal on metal.. i just use headphones on the road.. so you know.. :) spray some wd40 inside where the cable go inside the pole (remove the rubber protective patch) and spray (down inside) might help p.s. and another that could do the noise is that plastic cover on the hinge.. to tight or it's rubbing against it self, remove it (2 parts) and test.
How do I get the pole off the mechanism? I'm having trouble hammering it off, I took off all the pins but it's securely glued and pressed into each other. I want to install a solid not folding aluminium fixed mechanism, but I don't want to use a grinder to cut it off.

and what to do if the ring that limits the angle of rotation of the steering wheel has shifted. And now it turns to the right barely, and to the left very strongly. That limiter ring is so stuck that it cannot be put in place
Help! How long is the screw at minute 0:09,,, i lost the original one, i need to replace it because the one i have is shorter and the direction gets loose. Thanks!!
some dude fixing these told me the aliexpress stuff is way lower quality than OEM .. I ended up getting a fork off of a pro1 for about 40€ I'm stuck with getting the race off of the wheel part .. well, anyway, hope you didn't hit yourself too back fucking up your bearing 🤣
Yo the little ball bearings don't stop where they're supposed to. With a little extra force the scooter turns more than it should. Will I need to buy new ones?
Thanks for the video. My front wheel's fork got bent after crashing against a wall (don't ask), and your video helped me in taking everything apart to fix it. Some text messages during the video would be nice. For example, when you mount everything back together, the middle screw SHOULD NOT be over-tightened because it might crush/damage the bearings. If when you turn, it feels like the wheel is "skipping" positions, then it's over-tightened. What holds the pole to the front wheel's fork is the other 2 front/back screws, THOSE should be screwed very tightly.
How bad was it bent? I hit a pole last night at full speed hammed and mine is bent all the way back the wheel is hitting the deck .. I’m hoping it’s just a bent fork stem and nothing is dicked in the stem of the scooter
@@devinjames9168 Mine was bent sideways, I don't believe it bent backwards. All I did was hold it in a bench vise and straighten it visually until the wheel fitted correctly again. Luckily nothing broke, only my pride was hurt. Take it apart, hold the front wheel by the screws and accelerate, if it spins correctly then all you need is to straighten or replace the fork.
@@RMFUNTIK i see. I'll go check later. Might as well buy both. The pole or rod finally broke off right where the latch is so i decided to replace the pole with the base. I didn't find this bolt when i removed the old base but when I placed the new thing in, I couldn't steer the scooter properly. 😭😭😭
