I feel so bad that Hidaya isn't ever allowed to go places and live the life she wants to. It's nice she has a lot of respect in her parents and doesn't disobey them but like, it sucks she'll never be able to go to the college she wants to because of (as Zane said) "you're choosing your life based on a husband you don't even know yet." I feel like it's just so against everything women have fought against and I feel really bad :( hope she gets to go to culinary school somewhere else other than NY then!
