Over 2 and a half years since uploading this and it is still kicking goals. After viewing it at least 20 times on phone and tablet I have actually bought myself a projector for my birthday so I can view it on my wall life size. I especially really love the first 30-60 seconds where the visuals gradually creep in from a blank screen to a minimalist pattern of squares flashing for only a few milliseconds. There is great use of darkness which in itself is an art form in the same way that the use of micro-silences in music production can be utilised to great effect. I enjoyed the visuals so much that I was trying to find more stuff like it. I tried looking for visuals by Emily Compton but found nothing. So it appears now that the visual art was done by Komandra. Was the music also mixed by Komandra? and if so, who is Emily Compton?

And when it comes to creative work I try my best to avoid the mindset of "better" or "worse" - I just try to appreciate the creative process and put things out there for others to enjoy (or not!) haha. What I mean to say is, don't hold back on your own creative process because you feel like someone else is "better." Create your own work and the real value is that it will always be unique to you and your own authentic style : )
