Thank you for this, it’s rare to find a long-term review for anything specific! I was looking at this mostly for ball game use, we have two big kids in spring and fall baseball/softball. It’s a bummer about the shade blocking air flow.
Planning to take this to the beach with our 7 month old this summer! I know you said you felt like you did not need the mattress at the beach, but with him still needing some assistance to sit, do you think we should bring it with us? Or will the sand be good enough underneath?
Heyyy! If it were me I guess it would depend on how much stuff I was already bringing - the mat isn’t very convenient to carry so if you have a bit of a walk and a bunch of other stuff I’d say nah, but if you don’t mind carrying it then it might be nice to have since baby is still pretty much laying around. I’d personally pass on bringing the mat. It’s just easier without it. I laid a towel in ours when my toddler napped in there and he was totally fine. He laid in it and watched TH-cam kids too 😂
I do highly recommend the mattress for indoors, especially on hardwood - the bottom is literally like tent material otherwise. Plus if you get the mattress cover it’s so much easier to wash ❤️

Thanks for the video. Would you recommend the mattress for use indoor on hard wood floors for an 8 month old or just lay blankets underneath.

Ours didn’t come with the clip to close it… only one that slips on, it’s annoying
