Her voice is imita ting the tone that would be shreding in guitar.
this song is the reason i broke the game
Theprince09 you can get PTR on PS3
@@kujakubes241 how?
@@ChromebookLinuxGuides_OG You actually can’t I thought I could
@@kujakubes241 holy shike you answered after two years but you can play it on ps3 as long as you have the ps1 disk
@@ChromebookLinuxGuides_OG yea you can
Did anyone find the actual play through a bit disturbing?
The crowd moves in some unnatural, uncanny ways, and in bad mode the statues start electrocuting them, LIKE WHAT THE HECK?! WHY?! ARE THEY GETTING VIOLENT?! Then in awful mode the crowd breaks and there’s a gap in between the crowd into some lava pit or red void, which is just… what the heck?!
welcome to hell ❤
This does take place in hell tho..
This is my favorite Parappa game combined with my favorite track☺️
I don't know why most ppl don't like this stage or Teriyaki Yoko's voice. I think they're both great.
Amazing song
XD
man I remember this game, I loved this part, it was challenging and it felt good when I finally mastered it.
Jesus that background music is fucking good 😩👌
It sounds like Paper Mario made a snake tamer; pop idol track
this is probably one of the coolest song in the parappa series

Playing this song is absolutely a hellish time, but I love this song
This song goes hard. It’s probably supposed to sound bad and a little off because at least in the Japanese version lammy gets sent to hell when she meets this idol but even in the us version where she goes to an island teriyaki does look like an alien so it makes sense for the song to sound kind of weird and alien..10 out of 10 fr
Stage 2: Fear of fire
Stage 3: Fear of motherhood
Stage 4: Fear of heights/plane crashes
Stage 5: Fear of chainsaws(?)
Stage 6: Fear of death
Pollution? Deforestation?
@@lieutenantlobster6395 Fear of abduction, since Chuck grabs her into the forest "Ya said ANYTHIN, DI'NTCHA?!"
Stage 6: Fear of Hell
Stage 7: Stage Fear
As you can see, UmJammer Lammy is a thematically coherent masterpiece
I'm talking 'bout a lot of fire
I'm talking 'bout no getting tired
Forever and ever
Together forever
0:16 when i first played this, i thought it was just me playing wrong and not actually part of the song.
I absolutely love the instrumental of both this and PaRappa's version. I wasn't a big fan of the vocals at first, but they slowly grew on me.
It's just her voice trips over words and they sort of blend together, especially at the end when she says "forever and ever" it sounds like she's saying "for after, and after"
Was in awe the first time I heard this song and am still to this day.
i like how rammy faxes herself to hell for a gig. it always made me laugh.
this stage was also pretty tough, hardest stage for me anyway. every time the chorus of cats comes on i get distracted
Saving this quote for my crossover fanfic story...
"Oh no, Onion Teriyaki, together at last. (Personally i would call them the Sonny and Cher of Hell)
I think this was my least favorite song as a kid but it might largely be because I had to hear it eight million times. And maybe the singer, who isn't THAT bad but man, the rest of the music kind of outshines her.
+cyber952 What makes me like it a lot more is knowing the vocals were intentionally off key. She was made to be sort of like Yoko Ono, and we all know how... "interesting"... her voice is.
Went from my least favourite song in the game to the only one I find myself constantly listening to… I love Yoko’s voice and how she’s singing like Lammy’s guitar
Absolutely my favorite track in this game.
But thanks to TV Tropes all I ever think about when it comes on can be described in two words.
SEX ANGELS.
The background singers carry this song.
hardest stage to stay on GOOD. ugh.
Stage 5 was a nightmare for me, this one was pretty good
wowpokemon100 Stage 4 was a hassle but this one is hell on ice
i love the vocals on this song dont ask why
Welcome to -an island- hell.
That crazy pumpkin manager broke the fourth wall in the EU version of Um Jammer Lammy
2:05 best segment
Jammer lammy looks cute in the game dvd cover tho :D
Sheesh i want a pet lamb :)
This is the epitome of "garbage to play, great to listen to."
I agree with the description.
It sounded a lot worse in-game. Has a very late 90s Japanese album feel to it. The backup singers really elevate it.
Oh, and I love U.S. jazz musician Carla Cook's voice as Teriyaki Yoko in this one, whether she sings or raps. That's cool!
