The lineup is resembling Backstreet Boys and the song, especially the "Chika cha cha wah wah wah" is like Boyzone, more specifically "No matter what" LOL... I love this game and the effort that was put into it!
I really enjoyed how you could see a whole new generation growing up on myths and legends that you lived through and have seen with your own eyes. Because that's literally what happens to every new generation ever in the real world as well, you just don't see it in such a linear and fast-forwarded manner
Fr. Hearing her talk about how Advance has helped her made me question my choices I made the entire game. Why exactly was my instict to oppose the new authority without even considering if it was beneficial
@@vegetableoil4391 What I thought that although there were some parts of Advance that aren't that.. Good, (EG. The use of “our” can imply that the members of heatrash; or their parents, were affected by it and had their wealth redistributed, but this does raise a question about why do they support advance. 1:05 and 2:38 "it's like you were custom made for me by Remingtons svist" this is just a reference to the company remmigtons svist, just pointing it out as a reference 1:11 and 2:43 and (kind of 2:43) "I take all of the loves that didn't last and (I) leave them in the uneven past" Just pointing it out. (the Uneven past is the time before advance took over the surrounding countries) 1:20 and 2:51 and 3:44 "Share the new future as my bride" again, just pointing it out. 1:25 and 2:56 and 3:49"there's no need to hide all the times you have cried" so I'm going to go all conspiracy theorist here, but I'm sure this is somewhat accurate; This is pushing advance's narrative that "there will be no secrets in the new future" which is said in an ad about Julia Salsburies Diary. Basically, this idea could just be interpreted that advance wants citizens to be truthful to them and never hide anything from their sight. 1:30 and 3:01 and 3:54 "As my old mam used to say[...]" This is a reference to Peter Clemtet having my quotes staring with the phrase "as my old mam used to say" 1:42 and 3:13 and 4:06 "You make me crazier than Neil today" This refers to Crazy Neil, which is a character in the Adverts from the company "Crazy Neil's Deals" I have no idea why the sentence ends with "today" though. 1:50 "on liberation night" Pointing it out 1:56 "We sat there shaking all the way threw incisors" Incisors (which irl refers to your sharper teeth towards the front of your mouth) is a show on channel 1 that is mentioned before the news airs. in almost every narration all I can say about it is that; it is hosted by Dr. Adreston Blimiey (who is never shown or mentioned on the news and may or may not be a dentist) and that the show may/will/will not/may not include him cannibalizing someone. yeah I wish I could give more details I've listened to every pre-show narration and it is never really elaborated on. 2:12 "We took a train through all the territories" this might be a reference to the "new transportation system" Sophia Remmington mentions during the lockdown sequence if you portray her as bad earlier in the game, but I'm not sure. 3:24 "And now I'm, staring at your membership card" Pointing it out 3:29 "your pictures beaming brighter than a handful of flards" The only instance of flards being portrayed as admitting light was in the Remingtons svist ad "siege survival kit" but it was also "a golden flard" and the light it admitted was yellow so interpret that as you will and now you will never hear this song the same way again
Took our assets and wealth out of the bank is referring to the Asset and Wealth act which was the first thing Advance passed when coming into power. The "Our" might hint that the members of Heatrash (or their parents) were wealthy. However, this would seem strange given their beaming support of Advance.

Hey there! Weird request, but could you upload the awards ceremony with Alfie and the prime minister? Including the unseen part with Edwin after when you're supposed to switch back to Megan?
A couple reasons. 1. He is attempting to rhyme "heart" with "past". Heart uses the 'ar' sound while past usally uses the short "a" (like cat). He is therefore pronouncing past with that "ar". if you listen it to it again it's as if he is saying ".... In the uneven paarst...". In the previous verses, on that line they always ryme it with last so it is unexpected. 2. First note upbeat into a key change will seem out of place a little as its not the note expected from the last 2 times they sang the Previous verses, it is then musically justified with the subsequent chorus in the new key. 3. Since it's the note the key changes, it is sang with more conviction and prolonged to set up the final chorus setting up tension where it gets the payoff. A lot of songs use the last chorus key change, look to any Disney movie song.
Am I alone in feeling that this song was (intentionally) very slimy and insidious? Sure the lil C song was full propaganda but it was blatantly obvious, this feels more subtle and therefore more foul
@@dephtons I don't think they would've needed to, to be honest :) this game brilliantly shows how propaganda actually works, and how the very fabric of society and social cohesion is made. After a generation or two, you don't even need to actively fund propaganda, it works on its on and is taken for granted. For example if you are American in real life, you take George Washington for granted, and what the Revolution stood for makes sense to you. However, in reality these were pretty controversial topics at the time, and it required a lot of propaganda for Americans to believe what they believe today. But now its not even necessary, they just believe it on its own. Or take another example, money.. Everyone takes money for granted nowadays - its existence, its necessity and so on. But money wasn't always as important as it is today, and neither was capitalism. Fast forward decades of propaganda, a victorious war or two, and voila - you have people today making songs about money on their own free will. They can't even imagine the world without money anymore.
