I don't know if this was their intent, but the entire EP (lyrics and cover too) makes you feel that you are on ground in a middle of a second world war air bombardment.
Got two copies at the show in Tempe. I bought two shirts so Rob gave me an extra one and the band signed both copies. This new material is incredible. One of the best bands on the planet. Providence reminds me a bit of the Failures For Gods/Close to a World Below era. Can't wait for the full length already!
past 2 albums imo have had their tightest nd best production yet, this band is the definition of true death metal nd i cannot wait for their new album thats due out later this year or early 2013.
I just heard of these guys today when they played on my lastFM station for Nile. My god they kick so much ass. I was shocked to see A) they formed in the 80s B) Scion is sponsoring them. I hope some more awesome bands get some sponsorship like this. So long as they do not influence the music it is a great thing. Metal heads buy cars too.
@xxdanxexx it was an fucking brutal show! As soon as they hit the first note of Majesty and Decay everybody in the whole place started to headbang. Unfortuately the mosh pit was only about 20 ppl strong. They closed with World Agony and you were right about them giving away free EPs but not t shirts. The best part was i got to meet Ross and Robert and I got them to sign my sign and the EP. To summerise it was a brutal show
@Bruce Sorry I can't reply properly, my "smartphone" doesn't have the option. As for Morbid Angel & Deicide, I know what you mean. Morbid's last release is terrible. Everyone knows that. Then again, I've never enjoyed either of those bands.
I disagree. New Immolation is over-produced, technologically de-evolving, fake drum trigger sample plastic bullshit. Old Immolation is from 2006 back, physically brutal honest all-acoustic drum bludgeoning, passionate, hateful, meaningful genius full of substance & natural musically robotic soul.

can you hear their thunder...????BRUTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL....!!!!!
I was listening to Majesty and Decay the other night. Immolation is definitely one of the most underrated bands in metal.
One of the best live metal bands you'll ever see. I saw them in December 2007 with Suffocation and Skinless in Atlanta. Great live show.
One of the most threatening covers I have ever seen without being expecially thretening. The music might add on the sense of it!

Still one of their best tracks

This song sounds downright evil, and I mean that in the best way possible.

@GoongalaGoongala There was one of those dudes at the Buffalo show, everyone looked at him like he didnt belong at an Immolation show hahaha
badass!!!
I'm in love... Brutal enough to make me happy...
@xxdanxexx
yeahh this sounds like a modernized Dawn of possession !!
Immolation are fucking intense.
Best
Agree
I heard they were giving away this EP at the shows. Can anybody verify this?
@SkogFe what was the other 2 %?
I like this more than the new Vader album.
Dude find the guy on CB if u can
@termenator222 I prefer pits that are about 30 people but hell i'll take anything

Old Immolation kicks the fucking shit out of new Immolation.
Bullshit

sheer brutality
no comments needed.
Shit I can't disagree. XD
creepy cover album

Old Immolation kept things real. I'm beginning to hear too much plastic, for a band renowned for the very opposite.
in 3-th track sorry....
@Ironberserker i'd a jumped right in the pit im small but i dont care :) make it 21 people
Fuck .. Steve* Shalaty. Sorry.
honestly the drums on some of the older immolation albums sound weak as fuck
Thats completely bullshit.
+Fuch Goog not the playing but the way the recording sounds

Don't agree. They have evolved. But they are still as true as then
