Sir when more than one statements under section 161cr.pc are recorded by investigating officers and along with the challan only one statement of same witness is filed and other statement is retained by the prosecution with for the reason best known to them .This fact came to the notice to accused when the case of prosecution was on the verge of closure.what in this regard law court decision says.kindly tell
