    My first one was a 76 Elan SS, Had the 250 twin, Oh yeah I was Ballin. Nice looking Sled.

      Trying to locate an exhaust for a 250 twin rotax and starter for a rotax 335 single. Anyone know where I can find?

      A trick : you can watch movies at flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching loads of movies these days.

    No problem. Louis. I’ve been watching your content for quite sometime now. Want to get into sleds myself but it’s just to expensive here on the island. Everyone thinks old sleds are worth a fortune. Even in rough shape. Lol

      Oh its still sitting there, cleaning up other sleds - and will get onto the 925 when its in my new shop im building.

    Hey Louie, I got a 76 spirit 250 and the sides of the belly pans are rusted out I was just wondering if you had any advice on how to fix it or what to look out for

    Nice job! Those Elans were great snowmobiles, we had 2 '71 Elans, and I wish my dad didn't sell them.

    Finally!! This sereis allowed me to replace the track and drive cogs on my 1969 amf ski daddler! It has the exact same drive cog and track system as those skidoos.

      Iv always said a alpine with modern tracks and suspension with like a rx1 motor in it or something powerful like that

    You bring up an excellent point about questioning why they don't make something as simple as hell and stuffl. There are enough of us out there that would purchase it compared to buying one of those new alien bug looking things!

    I think these were a sensation in 1970-71 at about $600 USD? We sold our 318e Olympic and moved south in ‘71, never to ride again… those were some high adventure days, age 16!

    Exhaust is from 80s model rewind is original can till from sound it makes what memories

    We had a 1976 16 hp Elan back in the 80s it was actually my mom's she rode it for years. When my brother and I got around 12 or 13 she gave it to us we had some fun on that sled here in Newfoundland.

    Hey I restored a 76 Elan this fall, was wondering what would cause my track to hit my tunnel every once in awhile, bad springs? Track seems nice and snug, and is aglinged good.

      When all the bogies compress the track gets loose - springs could be the issue - I put olympic springs on the back

      @@PowerModzOfficial okay Lewis. Please let me know. I can give you my phone number by email. My father bought a white brand new 1976 250 single Elan in Sudbury Ontario for $950 out the door January 31st 1976. I ran it for over 30 years and regret selling it although I loved my ET 340.
