Tried this out and turned out nicely! Doing it too tight at the top was not a very good idea, but got complements for months with people thinking they were real box braids!

Hello Cindy, I did this pattern and style last night and I also braided my cornrows too tight. Did you do anything special to get some relief or did you just wait it out?

Osunshine87 I pulled out a few of the crochet hair and tugged on my real hair carefully for some slack. Then I put them back in and put the hair up into a comfortable position, and added grease if needed. A part of it was the hair was heavy and creating some serious tension

I removed some of the braids in different spots all over and rubbed my scalp with grease and peppermint oil, and the cooling sensation helped a lot too. I was just about ready to take the whole style down 😂. Thanks a bunch for the tips!😊
