Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, live at Sine' in NYC. 2005. Featuring Judah Bauer, Russell Simins, and Jon Spencer. Blues, punk, soul, garage rock. This band formed in 1991 and broke up in 2016. Note: Jon Spencer was also in Pussy Galore and Honeymoon Killers, and is currently in Jon Spencer & The Hitmakers. Judah Bauer has also been in Honeymoon Killers and played in Tom Waits' backing band, and Russell Simins was a member of Honeymoon Killers as well as Butter 08 and Men Without Pants (with Dan The Automater from Gorillaz), and he has played in the backing bands of many famous artists including Yoko Ono, Fred Schneider of The B-52s, and also Tom Waits.
