I just discovered how to make my own restaurant ranch at home. You can’t buy it in a bottle, it’s the hidden valley restaurant ranch packet, 1 cup or Mayo, and 1 cup of buttermilk. Mix it with a whisk, poor it into a bottle or Tupperware. Keeps for a while in the fridge. Changed my life. CHANGED MY LIFE.

Not this episode making me realize my mom is Very Delta… When she orders a salad it’s never one on a menu; she asks for lettuce (iceberg ONLY), cheese, croutons, and either ranch or French dressing, depending on the restaurant. Legendary behavior

My favorite dinner salad is a Caprese with basil and tomatoes from the garden. Topped with mozzarella and a 20 year barrel aged balsamic. Just gorgeous.

The pre-sushi dinner salad (iceberg, grape tomatoes cut in half, carrot strings, and cucumber) with ginger dressing was extra delicious tonight.
"I'm Very fat, you have to moove!" that is the energy I bring to the grocery store and those pta moms, every town has em, that meet up at the end of aisles and block my way with their conversations. And its not like I can turn around and go back the way I came, theres other ladies and gents trying to get into the aisle so I have to be like "Hey Hi can I get by there" and these teeeny tiny women move one inch and expect my double wide bottomed butt to fit through that tiny gap XD

I'm gonna try the Delta Method next time I salad bar. I do something simmilar but I call it "the mote" I build a ring of greens like spinach that won't fall off the plate. I fill the mote with my veggies and toppings.... but I take an extra plate back to the table with me and push half my salad onto that extra plate...so that I can mix without spilage. Then I have two perfectly mixed medium salads. Love you Delta!!!

Ralph’s before the pandemic had the best salad bar. UGHHHHH I miss their salad bar, it’s so expensive now, used to be by SIZE of container, now it’s by WEIGHT. So if you put shrimp and chicken and ham, you’re paying $20, vs in the old days it was like $8 to have a crammed full 6 lb styrofoam container filled with a full meal and 3 tubs of ranch on the side. “Those were the dayyyyysssss” 😂

we go to a Mexican place in downey and they still bring the chips and salsa, along with a small house salad or arbondiga soup before your main meal.. and it's not a large size, it's just right, small enough to get your taste buds going. LOL. Thank you for another great show Delta.!
