I hate how much shit Patty gets for his My Chemical Romance covers, he isn't Gerard Way. He's bound to have a different vocal range and sound. There's a reason why it's called a bloody cover. It's not going to sound exactly the same. Hell, if it did, I'd be terrified. There's a significant difference between Gerard's and Patty's vocal cords, and that's a good thing.

It doesn't sound like he was trying to sing it correctly.. He added some screams into it, which isn't in the original. He was trying to add his own thing into the song, which worked because it sounds awesome!

Few things:
I love MCR because their music helped to bring me out of serious depression, not because of how they look. If I wanted a boyband more valued for their handsome looks, I'd be listening to... I don't even know, One Direction or whatever.
What was kind of nice about this cover is that Patty is a good singer but has a different voice than Gerard's. Had he sounded the exact same, you might as well have just listened to the original song.

This is NOT the original. Therefore , it isn't gonna sound like the original. I love both version equally. Though some people may think differently, party's voice does fit this song but is just a bit high pitch , but Gerard voice is unique, which means, they are ultimately going to sound different.
