Not just their chemistry but their story and relationship is so much more meaningful tbh. Sometimes your soulmate is not necessarily your romantic partner and this is definitely one situation. I'm so sad, they really did Yu Rim dirty... but I think these kinds of situation of having to choose yourself or your country do exist in the sports world so I guess it's somewhat realistic.
the whole entire drama, from the first ep, these two girls already hv so much chemistry than their assigned partners/men. the enemy/rivals to lovers arc vibe is just too strong that I find myself skipping all scenes, just watching heerim ones. when the two made up with each other, and when yurim started to open up, the first person she runs to get a hug was heedo, not even her boyfriend. yurim let out everything to heedo, she's the only one who knew that yurim sincerely wanted to stay and be a korean athlete. that scene where yurim's boyfriend just found out she's already flying to russia tho, it was hilarious to me idk like guy knew absolutely nothing. just from the script we knew how much writers paid attention to the details of heedo&yurim relationship.
There chemistry is super i realy love them both if this not korea drama im sure they will fall inlove with each other i love Yurim and Na Heedo more than the lead actor
@@otpkpop4097 the chemistry between the male lead and Kim Tae Ri was just too dry but his fans kept speaking highly of his acting skills and exploding chemistry with Taeri, completely ignoring HeeRim @.@. Some of them even say HeeRim shippers are rude for making Heedo gay :)
@@detected1989 I just don’t feel any chemistry between main lead male and HeeDoo! Thank God I’m. not by myself! I wish the girls would be the main lead that would be something else! And boom internationally! But in Korea they don’t do season 2 usually is 16 episodes and that’s it! But I see potential in 2521 for second season!
I finished the whole 2521 a few days ago. For me, Heedo's relationship with Yurim really stands out. Their story is epic in many ways and quite unique. From ep 1 to ep7, every time they met each other, the dialogues became intense, emotional, and meaningful. Their rivery is like a bond linking them together over many years. This is definitely beyond friendship. I think this drama really shows how good and healthy rivery can make both people better and advanced. People as rivery can become soulmates b/c only two of them can perfectly understand each other since they go through the same in a profession.
I think the producer is kinda clever, he add the male lead to cover them so the drama can be accepted. Ofc the chemistry both of them is wonderful and add less suspicious if this 2 girls is the main lead. What I'm saying is the main lead isn't really the main lead this 2 girls is the real main lead. Sorry for my bad English ✌
Such a pure and powerful friendship, I valued their relationship a little more than the Hee do's and Yi jin's because it was so sweet and wholesome - it had me crying so much. The last fight was so emotional but love that their friendship came before anything else. Na Hee do wasn't even happy that she won, she just wanted to comfort her friend cus she knew the reporters had caused them both such a great deal of pain and confusion.
They always write these intense and wholesome relationships between female characters better than the actual main couple and still expect us to believe it's just "female friendship" while the awkward/incompatible "conventional" couple were made for eachother?!.... Does this qualify as queerbaiting?!?
i dont think its queerbaiting because they never made us thought hee-bo and yu-rim had a chance of being something more. Most kdramas rarely have queer couples. Although I do ship Hee-bo Yu-rim, it was very clear from the being who Hee-bo will end up with. Queerbaiting is a tatic used in media to make it seem like two characters are LGTBQ+ and can be a couple without making them a couple. Hee-bo and Yu-rim had their respectable male love interest from the beginning and the show makes it very clear of that.
@@bagofcorn7434 that's true, and maybe the cultural aspect also has a part in it?!
