Open scoring doesn't resolve bad judges it only shows you earlier how bad a judge scored the round. Imagine Cory vs Vera was open scored it would just show earlier how oke judge had Vera winning the fight
exactly. 5 judges instead of 3 would do a better job at solving the issue of bad judging if it's fair to assume there are at least more competent judges than bad ones.
@@jmon4286judges being held accountable for the score they give would do the most. We need to know what those people are thinking when giving a score. There's 0 accountability and they never get questioned. 100% room for corruption
@@MAkAVeLlIiii They do speak to them after the fights. And then every week there is a conference call with all the top commissions, judges, refs, where they discuss the previous week's work. Remember, it's subjective work, close fights can go either way. There are some egregious calls, I agree with you there.
@@MMAJunkieGeorge I know that it's subjective and we wont always agree with the judging...I'm saying that, these discussions NEED TO BE PUBLIC NOT PRIVATE. I never even knew that the judges answered to anyone..most fans probably don't know this either. Either way, they need to be PUBLICALLY held accountable. As far as I'm concerned, there's still room for corruption when things stay private. Too many times scores have been given that made zero sense...the public needs to know why that happens.
Open Scoring should be MANDATORY! As with every "sport" the viewers should know the score at each round, inning, touchdown etc. Sports should never hide the score.
Crazy to see him still keep working even at this age, Respect 🙏

Every sport is unique in their own way. Combat sports has this mystique about it.
